@blackjin21 - That would just be a step backwards. You have the RX-8 already, why go back and make a 4th version of the 7? The RX-9 should be next on the agenda, but sadly Mazda has halted production of rotary engines.

@DZoneTV what? how would keeping the RX-7ame be a step backwards the rx-8 is NOT an RX-7 THIS car is worthy to be called an RX-7. They did it with the FC and FD. Mazda can call it the FE, RX-7.

@blackjin21 - I never said the RX-8 is the 7. What I'm saying is that Mazda should move forward in the RX series rather than going back 1 number all the time but sadly, a new RX car won't happen anytime soon because Mazda will halt production of rotary engines as of Spring this year.
