特撮の矢島信男氏の傑作ですが・・・・作品はヤクザ映画＋時代劇­＋トラック野郎な作品でした。

どこに１５億もかかったのでしょう。

特撮に５億もかかったというのは、あながちうそではないみたいだ­けど、マット画ば下手すぎた。

@August138 Because I saw the previews of it, and they looked tragically awful. Even by B-movie standards this thing sucks. It's one of two mistakes Vic Morrow made in his career. The other being in that Twilight Zone flick.

@Capt777harris You can't condemn something you haven't seen — the original trailer for STAR WARS ("The story of a boy, a girl, and a universe") wasn't so hot, either. Same goes for 2001 (mind you, I love both SW and 2001). And if we're going to condemn science fiction movies for how they look, based on a trailer, that would effectively eliminate about 3/4s of them — including some of the best. Don't judge a book by its cover (it's a live action cartoon, and better than GALACTICA 1980 and BUCK).

「リアベ号」の構造と動きのロジックがオモシロかったので「超合­金」？のモデルを買ってしまいました。

例えパクリと言われようが、ＳＦブームを受けて速攻で作ってしま­う勢いの良さと、アナログ特撮の限界に挑んだ姿勢はもっと評価さ­れるべき！
