If anyone is thinking about buying a ZuneHD, here are some warnings:
APPs are virtually non existent and rely on 3rd parties.
the ZuneHD was discontinued, so support for it is basically "throw it away and buy a windows phone"
If you have a mac, you have to use a shitty windows 7 phone connecter for mac to sync your zune. It's not as great as the zune market place player and is terrible.
@Sodylin What's the media player storage capacity on the windows phone? can you just buy the windows phone to use it as an mp3 player even if your using another phone service?
@sewdavicious I do not own a Windows Phone, unfortunately. I think, like all phones, you have to activate it and connect it to a "phone network" for it to even work, no? Unsure.
I'm still trying to decide weather I should get the Zune or iPod Touch. I absolutely love how you can get free apps on the Zune, but I think the iPod Touch is really cool. Anymore things the Zune or iPod Touch can do?
I prefer Zune over iPod cuz its easier to add music to a Zune but to an iPod I have to delete everything and put it back on to add 1 song! IPods can get apps, better internet access, and call people. So? If I want to do any of that I'll use a windows phone or iPhone.
Haha I used my friends zune and the apps store sucked monkey balls. Also the touch interface is better. iTunes is also better. And I'm posting this on a touch as I type.

However the zune IS a better device for audiophiles as it has better audio playback, it also has hd radio, decent video, decent browser. It's up to you in the end to decide which is better but stop being little fanboys and be happy with what u got, unless its the ipod nano...

And there are actually MANY zune HD's out there. Its called windows phone. They have zune built into the system with the same amazing sound quality and more selections than just the iphone. For example: HTC HD7, HTC Surround, LG Quantum, Samsung Focus, etc. Zune HD2 will probably come out with the tegra quadcore. :D

@kungpao56. Comparing a 4g to a zune wouldn't be fair. FaceTime alone is an automatic win for the touch on top of 10000000 other improvements the 3g didn't have. Also, why do zune people brag about oled display with such a tiny screen?

You can chat with someone on ur mp3 only over wifi thats gonna kill your battery in 15 minutes and considering no even uses facetime because the majority of itouch uses still have 1-3gen. And the screen is only .5 inches smaller than the ipod. And the reason why Zune user brag about it is because you cant see ANYTHING on the ipod the screen is so washed out and the sound quality sucks balls. Even some SanDisk has better audio quality than the itouch.

I have had an I touch and a Zune HD
the only thing itouch's are good for is the apps.
My itouch it broke in less than a year.
My zune has not broken and its been about 2yrs.
all i use my zune for is music.
i like the interface much better on the zune.
the music system is much better

@biscuit166 probably not as much worth it..because most apps need wifi connection to use and you need wifi do download them,or the app store to download.ive had 2 ipod touches in the past and im going to get a zune,i think they're cool and they don't cost as much..plus ive had my iopods stolen because of their label.

I'm getting the ipod touch 4th gen. I got a 3rd gen nano but its too laggy because of all my music. zune seems nice but all its got is music. I'd rather get an ipod so when I'm bored I can play some games on the go.

I admit its cool that the nano and the touch get cameras.. but nowadays, who walks around with an mp3 player but no cellphone?(MABY when jogging, but even then i STILL bring my phone). The reason i bring this up is because its almost impossible to buy a cellphone that doesnt have a camera in it, so my real question is this: how many cameras does a person need to carry in their pockets at one time?

Ipod fanboy: We have great audio also, retina display, 200k+ apps, worldwide radio, facetime/webcam, video record/movie maker, take pictures, flash to watch vids/animations on any website, youtube, texting/calling[need the aps], can browse unlimited webpages at once, can steal blocked wifi,podcast's, jailbreak etc,

Over 50k apps, developed all in Germany, with the nicest resolution. Zune, Nano, and iPod Touch are all nice. Quit being so fucked up

You can chat with someone on ur mp3 only over wifi thats gonna kill your battery in 15 minutes and considering no even uses facetime because the majority of itouch uses still have 1-3gen. And the screen is only .5 inches smaller than the ipod. And the reason why Zune user brag about it is because you cant see ANYTHING on the ipod the screen is so washed out and the sound quality sucks balls. Even some SanDisk has better audio quality than the itouch.

Its okay, so am I ;D All my friends that had the first gen ipod no longer use there's for whatever reasons (majority of them is cause the stopped or just got too outdated). Through several tribulations I STILL have/USE my zune 30 gb. Where as I plan to upgrade but will continue using good ole kangerou. ;D
