I like this song alot, but the first thing I thought was "wow, this sounds a lot like No Doubt's song "Tragic Kingdom". They essentially used the same sound from Tragic Kingdom and put it into My Last Amen.

The lyrics of this song even mention "Tragic Kingdom" by name at around 1:25 into the song. They did a good job, this song is great, just wondering if they fessed up to where the musical inspiration came from.

wow. finally an actually talented, fresh, original, unique modern band. love the horns, classical and jazz influence. the sorta latin jazz chord progression gives it just even more flavor. could've used a piano solo though. that would have been sick. I didn't like the break around 2:30 as much as the rest of the song. almost muse-esque progression (since muse is kinda classically influenced).
