Mix-n-match clothing IS 80's. That was a fun time for clothing. You really could go into a thrift store and create your own look and it was okay. I remember coming out of the restricted, many ugly clothes of the 1970's (french cut t-shirts -- blecchhh and then the midi-skirt thing -- not all were ugly -- ditto jeans were cool, but women's fashions were rather blase and one-bodied in the 1970's).
