Eyedeas are NEVER forgot, there always in our minds and consciousness, you just have to know how to make them...a reality..i know i only met you once bud...but i miss ya, i used to be addicted to morphine, oxycontin, vicodin, basically ANY opiate except Herion, when I found out he passed away, i honestly stopped, i had withdrawls but all i did to keep myself going was smoked some chronic and listened to eyedea whenever i felt the need to use, thanks Micheal, you saved me from myself, ReyeP.
They taught me how to know everything except my soul, which is everything I need to grow, everything that keeps me whole, EVERYTHING THAT EVER MEANT ANYTHING TO EYEDEA
To everyone criticizing Eyedea's poem, you need to reconsider your comments. Look at the emotion filled with every word, hand gesture, facial expression and pitch of his voice! Anyway, anything Eyedea made was good with or without a beat.
@kgonepostl@GraffitiSlammer That's stupid, doing it slam style breaks it down to it's core and presents the emotions of the poem in a raw form which is what it was intentionally written as.
@kgonepostl apparently someone doesn't understand how much more powerful these words are without the beat... There is a reason it was performed live in this fashion... In my view it was "fuckin stupid" to ever set it to a beat... This is/was Eyedea's "coded language"
