LOL im saving my file now, I did all of it just like the movie shows and saved it as .avi It's 10 minutes past now and (total time estimated is 4 hours) still growing and not stopping. It will never compress and save. It will go up to 1 million hours. LOL

@prosperitymariah You can find the subtitler plugin after you have restarted the VirtualDub Application and you have already pasted the subtitler.vdf file on the plugin folder.

Søg på google efter: K-lite codec. Vælg det første link og download så den codec pakke.

Uden de codecs, kan VirtualDub ikke åbne din XviD fil.

The only program that works on my computer is DivxLand, and it can't embed the subtitles without VirtualDub, which doesn't work on my computer.

What can I do when my srt file is off; for instance the start time of the DVD I converted to AVI, it has different start times, so all my subtitles off by a second. Is there a way I can start have Virtual Dub start at a designated point that will get the subtitles back in sync?

Search for this on google: "online subtitle synchronization". Press the first link it gives you. There you can change the time in your subtitle, and make it a second earliere, so it is in sync.

I also find out that you can open the subtitles you made in Subtitle Workshop again, then put the video on the place that you want to start the subtitles. For example aftr 10 seconds. Then select (all) subtitles and click on the 9th button from left.

If I leave full processing mode activated it will give birth to a monstrous file I do not want.

But If I select Direct Stream Copy (the normal thing to do) it doesn't allow for any compression.

select full processing mode under video (in audio u should chose direct stream copy). Then press "compression" and make the settings for a normal filesize. It´s all in the vid =)
