(excluding magus) even if cameras were invented there's just no way to get all the party members going to the same time period at the same time. ok the part where they go camping is one inconsistency. i'm not counting the ending because it's the ending and endings can mess with the rules. not a complaint just adding realism to this great game. it's a waste of time to try to add realism to this game.

for me at least, the funniest scene was when Honda, er, I mean Robo, was getting beat up by his fellow robots. Marle or Lucca are like "Chrono, Robo's getting whipped!" I only have the SNES version of this game. After watching this, I have a few questions for anyone willing to answer them.

2) After Chrono found the Epoch, how come it went straight into the scene where he dies?

Chrono Trigger is the "Godfather," "Star Wars," and "Blade Runner" of video games, rolled into one. In the same way those 3 movies collectively changed movies, Chrono Trigger singlehandedly changed game development. Favorite all time classic for me, will likely remain my favorite game. If I ever grow old, and know I'm close to dying, and I only had ONE last video game to play, this would be it.

I never liked Chrono Cross half as much as Chrono Trigger, but it was still a good game. Unfortunately, Square (at the time at least) was not a company that tended to make direct sequels about it's games, RPGs in particular. So, for any square rpg to actively confirm that it is a continuation of the story of a previous game (no matter how obscure or loosely related) was pretty surprising at the time. I remember being floored when I realized I was talking to Melchior from CT in CC.
