  • One more retarded kid who dont know anything about photo, does you mom love you?i think she love you more than she need

  • Hello, the Tamron has its own built in motor or no? Thanks.

  • @Pivo000 Yes it does.

  • it is a tree house :)

  • I love your room. Looks like a treehouse from this view.

  • i have 550d.i should buy this lens or tamron 17-50mm?i want a good lens for both videos and shots!

  • @matthewblessssss unless you really need wide go 28-75 very popular among wedding photographers

  • the uv filter is useless, you got an elek. sensor in the camera not an normal film, it wont change the condition of your pictures at all, its only making money when you are looking to set on a filter get an pol filter

  • @CountryMaster16 yeah but it is.. protecting the lens

  • @Igorpnd from what? if somethink hits the filter it will properly break it and also do some demage to the lens itself also the uv filter can easy create reflektions between the 2 glass elements and can cause trouble

  • VERY HELPFUL!!!!

  • The UV filter doesn't affect the image for digital cameras, only for film cameras. All it does for you is protect your lens.

28mm on the 1.6x crop factor is not wide at all.

This wasn't much of a "review, you just sorta told us the features of the camera.

  • great review.

  • vertically and horizontally? oh gee thats new

  • Well it's obvious to me, if you "HATE child reviews on this subjects" then don't watch!

Nice review - I enjoyed it and I bet you get some fantastic shots with that camera and lens combo. Well done.

  • good review, don't listen them

  • I HATE child reviews on this subjects.

    Go play.

  • are you sure your mature enough for a camera like that? ive been doing photography for 2 years and i havent been able to afford a camera like that, then i see this, some punk ass kid has one, wtf?

  • dust vibration? WAWAWEEWAA

  • EOS XTi in Asia and Europe is EOS 400D.

You're so smart and did it very well! Tamron 28-75mm is a good lens but I have a difficulty to choose between 24-105mm f/4L IS USM and it. Anyway, u're excellent! ^^

  • So you brought food to feed the plane? But any ways, good review! I use a d2h which I love! But remember that mega pixles don't make a camera better. The d2h only has 4 but it still is better then a rebble or d60( no offence). But keep up the good work!

  • i think im going to get this lens with my

d700 400 bucks and they have alot better reviews compaired to the sigma 24-70

i really want the 24-70 nikon but 1730 is really exspensive the d700

is down to 2350 now plus im getting a 80-200 nikon 2.8 so i think tamron for now is the best bet

  • okay i gotta admit you're kinda cute :) but really..... yeah. maybe in ten years you'll get more credit for your explanations. keep it up tho! :)

  • I don't want to be mean.

    Lern something about photography!

Go out, and shoot some photos, instead of your ***** review

  • OMFG? can it really shoot vertically? wow.... can it shoot upside down, too? im stunned!

  • i lol'd +1

  • @germandude1982 haha nice one :D

  • 28mm is not considered wide angle, esp with that 1.6 crop factor on the xti. 1.6 x 28=44.8mm which is definitely not a wide angle. The kit lens would have more of a wide angle then that lens. 200mm is telephoto, so its obvious its not going to be wide.

  • good job

    ur a smart kid!

  • this guy dont know how to hold a camera

    =p

  • hey good review kid

  • Lol. 5:20

I dunno if you heard HIM or not, but he goes "CHkah Chkahh Chuhkahh!"

Btw, The Rebel XS/350D doesn't have censor cleaning.

  • LOL if u notice this camera is pretty new. Go shoot some pictures kid. U wont b a good photographer babbling on u tube.

O there's something in ur mouth ur voice ruins the mood.

  • at 2:18, did you just say, "its great for beaners" ?? if its not great for crackers, why do you have it????

  • Is that eos 1000D?

  • 400d

  • I love the way he's talking about the 5D, being a "pretty good" camera. LOL

  • And he 'up-talks' all the time which should be a capital offence.

  • This kids a moron- get him off!

  • I have not been able to look at the "ultra sonic" vibration in my camera, but thanks for the "ultra sonic" face, now I know what it is.

  • I have a 30d. I wouldn't want a camera like this with a plastic body- good review though.

  • so its a Tamron lens and a Tamrac bag? whats the deal with those Tam stuff?

  • You're just a fucking kid, you know nothing about balancing ISO,aperture and shutter speeds LOL now go get a pink Casio exilim and start shootin LOL

  • word

  • yea i agree with lovelymisshailey, grea review!

  • At first I thought you looked a little young, but that was a really good review. I just got the Xti for Christmas today and I was looking around for demoes and such, you helped me a lot. Thanks.

  • 10???

  • This was uploaded on my birthday. lol. How many MP is it?

  • i like him saying I THINK

  • nicely done, great review!

  • very nicely done boy. great, you brought out the great features of the xti in practically lamens term wich everyone can understand, A+++

  • You are reading off the screen again... C'mon man...

  • can you make a video on polarizers.

  • i hope you don't shot over-handed like that. your young, don't pick up nasty habits like that. always shoot underhand meaning hand under the lens and not over... nothing says beginner better than someone focusing from the top of the lens.

  • You really do not know what you are talking about you did have alot of facts correct but alot not so correct i use that camera also but just study and get your facts strait it is great to see a bigger interest in phtography though

  • Dude im looking at the Cannon rebel XSI

have you used that one?, for me its either gonna be that or the Nikon D60.

  • XSi for sure if you made your choice between D60 and XSi. (take a look at the D90 or D80)I am a long time Pentax user so no bias or anything :D Hope its not too late.

  • Yeah man, i had to put my camera purchase on hold for a few months, Im having money issues.

I was looking at those two cameras too.

The D90 looks amazing!! maybe i can save up longer and go for that one. Haha.

    Thanks for the help :)

  • XSi Hands down. I have one and it's magical... to say the least.

  • wow great video!!

    what are some color features?

  • Does the strap and case come with the camera or do you have to buy that separately ?

  • The strap comes with it, but you'll have to buy the case separately. It's a freakkin' nice'n good camera.

  • WHO THE FK IS USING MY ACCOUNT???!!

  • haha its good for beaners?

  • Not to burst a bubble, but.... its shoots 3fps not 3.5, but good review

  • Great Review, I'm Going To Get This For My B-Day. Thats A Bunch!

  • Very helpful, I persuaded my dad to buy a nice camera, and he gave it to me yesterday. (The Canon Rebel XTi, of course.) Hmmmm, I know a lot about the camera's capabilities alone, but as far as accessories, what do you recommend?

  • I would recommend a speedlight, nice camera bag, good tripod, extra memory cards. and depending on your shooting, different lenses

  • @RedBlueGreen12345 i would buy an canon l lens before you buy crap like tamron

  • @CountryMaster16 Not everyone can shell out $1,300 for an L lens. While this guy didn't point out any specifics about the Tamron, the optics are surprisingly good and can rival the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L

  • @JustinPoliachik Yes. The camera optics of this camera are great :)

  • I just ordered this with the kit 18-55mm lens and this video gave me more insight on what I'm getting. Thanks

  • LOL, at least your trying...

  • dude really liked your video, provided me a little intro into the features that my rebel xti has...keep it up

  • Thanks...

  • fyi just pointing out. 28-75mm is mainly a portrait lens and not a really good lens for landscape as it is a midrange zoom. A good landscape lens would be like s 10-20mm or a 12-24mm

  • I think he meant just the 28.

    : )

  • Techreview,

I have to say you amaze me. After viewing your helpful videos, I actually know how to somewhat use my camera. I was wondering about a external flash for indoor photos... maybe something on the hotshoe? Who knows what I am talking about, I am hoping it makes some kind of sense to you. I have issues with indoor photography, is there a better way to take them without a flash as well? Lost in the settings!

  • I have been looking into buying a Rebel xTi and I must say your reviews helped alot. I think I will buy one. I am just a beginner but I think it has everything I need. Great reviews! Keep up the good work. I just have one question. Is there a mood on the camera for black and grey photos?

  • Yes. There is. It is called monochrome.

  • Did you buy the camera with the objective?

How much money did you pay for?

    thx for answering ;)

  • with the objective. huh? And I paid for every penny.

  • objective-lens (I suppose)

  • lol, you sounded like a robot at the end. Also how much did the lense cost? One last thing did you take and pics on the plane? If you did, did the lense work well for that? That is basicly all I will use mine for, planes.

  • did i take pictures on the plane? Do you mean of a plane

    ?

  • ya, in your video you said you used the case on the plane so did you take pitures of the plane, on the plane, whatever.

  • chica chica chica chica which means girl in spanish. OMG ITS A SIGN! Your camera is a girl, lol. But thats not bad at all.

  • what do you think of your tamron lens after using if for awhile now? i'm thinking about buying it although i'm also thinking about a canon 17-85 and a canon 28-135 for a good walk around lens.

  • I love my tamron. I am really glad i bought it. It is great for macros and portraits.

  • great job dude:]

  • Thanks. :D

  • U mean dad . . . . . .

  • Ya, he probable does.

  • i wish i had a mom that would by me my stuff

  • Ya, me too...

  • ever heard of saving? Still that is alot for a kid to save, I'am only 16 my self but still.

  • Dust doesn't necessary 'ruin your photos' - My 5D is full of dust, but the pics are amazing!

  • no your right not necessarily, ive just, heard that it can. Possibly the bigger the particles are. im not positive. But thanks for the advice. :D

  • this is great for people who don't know what an slr is, but to me half of the video was stuff i already knew

  • I think you did a great job on this review!

  • Wow.I'd say your a talented boy ... U play drums too ?? hahaha

  • Nice review

  • With autofocus, do you even have to touch the lens?

  • That is the same camera I have.

  • this is great! i'm going to purchase a canon and now i know a little about it and how it works!

    nice job :)

  • 28mm x 1,6 crop factor ... do the math kid isn't so wide,but 60 mm x 1,6 ... excelent for portret ;)

  • least im not a dick

  • thank you love your style

  • Hey nice job! I really like your videos. And i personally like the fact that you don't have your every word planed out. Spur of the moment is the way to go!

  • Its all about Nikon D200 ;)

  • Too bad the D200 is in a different class even the D80 is more upper level serious photographer still a fun camera to use ;) i still love my XTi, just cant wait to get my hands on the 40D

  • now it's all about the D300 and D3

  • im getting the xti with the kit lense i hope its okay

  • Sir/or mam i have a Nikon D80, trust me on this it may be a few extra hundred but it is definately worth it, the build quality is amazing, and the camera itselft is excellent. I was too going to purchase canon rebel xti but when i compare the two physically the D80 Hands Down also the quality and what a machine it still is.

  • Sir or mam?

  • good stuff, give up!

  • your better than that retard Randall M. Rueff and his faggotry. If you've ever watched his videos you'll see that he has waaaayy too much time on his hands. And yet he's allowed to have a camera. Anyway nice video! I'm 14 and am going into photography, right now I'm looking into buying the Rebel XTI. Only have $95 though. Almost there!lol.

  • lucky for you the price of the xti should g down with the recent release of the xSi.

  • yeah I heard about the XSI.

  • The XTi is about as low as it could get right now. Don't expect much more price reduction until the XSi is replaced, in eighteen months.

  • the xsi is coming out in april

  • Scerw the XSI, I would just get the XTi or 40D. I dont want to have a whole bunch of SD cards laying around their alrdy hard enough to handle two at a time. CF cards all the way for SLRs

  • The way you take the lens of and put it on again is totally wrong, take more care of it! It's not a toy!

  • you need to take better care of that camera.

  • Ucan'tpluckmychicken - Actually, this camera is a used by professional photographers who receive compensation for their work. And it's not the camera that makes a good picture, it's the photographer. No need to invest in several thousands of dollars if you don't know what you are doing. He mentioned getting the Canon 5D if you are a "PROFESSIONAL", anyway. Why be an ahole to a kid? Get a life. This little man did great!!

  • Very True Well spoken man

  • Hey, great review! You sound like you know your stuff! I just switched over from film, and got me an XT. Nice to know there are people younger than I am into photography!

  • Two stars?!?!? I'm giving you four stars, but with pointers: Don't say "like" so much, never state a point and then retract with "I don't know," don't take so much time plugging a company, and don't repeat yourself so much. To follow up on the last tips, you spent the last 2 minutes of your video talking about where you bought the camera and asking people to email you. That's 30-second material.

  • Really good review

I've been intending to buy one like that Canon EOS XTi and this video helped-me to get more informations about that fantastic camera.

  • I GOT A NEW LENS! Tamron 18-200. oh yess.

  • can u post some pics u took with this camera im planning on buying it

  • i would buy a canon 28-135 just for 50 dolars more. it is a much better lens with a longer range and it has IMAGE STABILIZER

  • the 28-135 doesn't have a constant apeture of 2.8

  • nice job buddy. great review.

i have been debating getting this lens. i have seen alot of pictures and reviews saying the only drawback between this and the 24-70L is the Tamron has slightly slower focusing which I dont care about. I may get it after watching this!

  • well done my friend... just something important.

this camera do not have a FULL FRAME SENSOR, that means that you have a 1,6 factor on the lenses. if you have a 28mm lens, it is going to be like if you have a 44mm lens. if you want wide angle view in this kind cameras you should get a 10-20mm lens or 17mm to really have wide angle

  • come on people the kid knows more info than a 40 year old adult good job son

  • the 40 year old adults dont pretend to know everything though

  • Dude.

just stop, you really dont know what your talking about.

This is not a "pro" camera, its still a consumer product.

    And its called Ultrasonic vibrations.

all it is, is a high frequency vibration.

Next time you decide to post another review.....learn your facts.

  • Get bent

  • you're fun to watch!

i'm going to buy my canon xti right now!

    i added you on facebook.

  • o whoops i denied you try again

  • hey what zoom are you thinkin of gettin i have the canon 75-300 f4.0-5.6 it was my first zoom lense i also have the XTi but i have the battery grip trust me it is a good purchase, the canon 70-200 f4 L series is a good purchase its 560 dollars on B&H photo its 360 dollars more than the 75-300 buts its worth every penny and u could use polarizer filters with out the zoom and focus ring spinning and messing up the filter

  • ya i might look at the 70-200 L thanks for suggesting

  • Great review? Do you own any other lenses?

  • no, my next lens will probably be a zoon... do you own the rebel?

  • Ya fricken leave the kid alone! anywayz great vids i've seen most of them, anyway thanks!!

  • Hi,you look very nice BTW.

    Keep it up

  • Well first of all... shooting vertically and horizontally... we can do it for any camera, but man learn what your talkin' about and then make several test with a camera for finaly review it on web 'cause on web if you're doing anything wrong, people will complain about it. But anyway I'm sure you can do it just learn more about photography

  • Don't listen to these kids who are insulting you. You're unexperienced, but you'll get there. I give you my condolences for actually making a review, rather than the other fools who just sit around making fun of others. Good work, keep it up(well, get better as well :D)

  • thanks man... They were my first reviews

  • Yeah you're doing fine. I watched it and enjoyed it except you could have been more specific on some of the features of both the camera and the lens. You also could have included some sample pictures, but otherwise it was good!

  • LOL, minus whale get a disposable.

  • "many people complain that the extended battery grip is a great purchase" what the hell does that mean?........they bitch about how great it is? lol........that doesnt even make sense.....seriously stop reviewing cameras.

  • I'm pretty sure that the Rebel XT doesn't have the anti-dust feature...

  • the XTi does tho

  • you can shoot vertically and horizontally with this camera???? GET OUT!!!! lol you can do that with any camera. stop doing reviews.

  • Hi Will, just to post a little feedback here. I shoot with a nikon f5 35 , and most of my co-workers have wether d2xs, d2hs and even tough they have the nikon's flagship models i still take better pics with the f5, the picture quality is all about the shooter... also 28mm equals about 45, wich is a normal lens, thats the fun of having a 17-35 on a 35MM :P

all in all...stop the reviews, learn more and then come back

    no offense

  • Absolutely correct.

  • dude, honestly....you shouldnt be doing reviews.....they arent that good.

  • yea it seems he has no idea actually ... '28 ... pretty low number...' 28mm is wide ? no, no not on a rebel... below 18mm is wide ... and what u say about uv filters is pure bullshit also.. a uv filter has no effect on any picture. bad ones even decrease level of details in a picture.

  • lol ya definately..........i feel bad for anyone who actually listens to him and takes him seriously because they're gonna have shitty ass photos

  • Dude it isnt the camera its the photographer. Noob. You can have the Mk-III and still take shitty pictures.

  • i never said anything about a camera in my post...i said if they take his advice on things they're gonna wind up worse off. He gives false information.

  • Mulit Coated UV filters shouldnt degrade the picture. Its not even noticeable during shoots unless your a complete peeping pixel person, a good UV filter wont degrade a picture. Plus a UV filter allows me to not clean my front element that often.

  • you are completely right of course, i just wanted to say that they dont have a positive effect on your pictures like not blurring light areas or idk what he said lol. of course it's a good way to protect your lens. btw its even 28mm x 1.6 = 45mm on a APS-C sensor lol. i'm thinking about getting the tamron 17-50mm and later an additional 10-22mm or 10-20mm from canon or sigma ... THAT is wide [:

  • opps i keep forgeting its 1.6x not 1.4x for my TC XD

  • Lol 28 multiplied by 1.4x = 35mm at its wide end. Thats no where near wide enough for landscape, of course its the photographer, not the lens. I use the 24-105mm and its wide enough for me.

  • nice video ! and well i want to ask is how much is it ? and iam new to this kinda and iam thinking to get one so yea and you think the powershot g7 or g9 is good ?

  • it was around 900-1000 with the lens. but you can get it mmuch cheaper without this lens.

i have not heard of the powershot g7 or9

  • o how much is with the lens that come with it ?

and o well i heard the g9 is pretty good cuz is 12MP and it do video so is not like rebel just about pictures you know so yea.

  • lens around 400

  • i see i see well today i went to a store randomly and they said the rebel is $699 LOL i was like 0_0 haha well iam maybe going to find a cheaper rebel that is not use around $600 and ill get it. one more thing, what kind of lens should i get for a use like good for most of the style ? because i think iam not going to buy sooo much lens for a while after you know LOL

  • depends on how much money you have an what you want to shoot, if you are like most consumers just stick with the 18-55 it should do you good for a year or two but if you take of with photography you'll want a better one

  • i see i see you think 35mm to 75mm is good for me like ? iam more maybe take pictures in a city so yea

  • yeah i totally fucken take a picture of something next to the sun and all you pug fugly faggot

  • Did your daddy buy that for you?

  • nope saved for a year and did jobs around neighborhood
