They are really great dancers, but the performance as a whole isn't very good. It is a bit like -for me- as if someone tried to create a round but the different voice parts are singing different songs... feel incoherent for me. Mixing two great things won't necessarily make a great result (think of prune and milk :P) [this is not supposed to be an insult, please don't get hurt]

Why do the people who put out these videos not give us more information about the dancers and the performance? I thought this was wonderful. I believe "step dancing" is a form of dance various groups do, and "Irish step dancing" is the Irish version of that. African Americans gave us tap dancing, which is similar but different in style. We have such a rich ethnic heritage here. This dance highlights that. Lovely.

i hate to tell whoever posted this, but rain dance IS step dancing. so it's step dancing vs. tap dancing. not sure that anyone else picked up on that. but there's a difference.

....it's river dance first of all, and there's also a difference between IRISH dancing, and step dancing, you seem to know the differences in all these awesome kinds of dancing, so...why didn't you pick up this before?

AWESOME! I'm a great fan of both tap, clog, and riverdance, and getting two out of three on the same stage, at the same time...it wow'ed me to the ground! My cheeks hurt from smiling so much, hehe..Awesome! Thanks for posting :D

OMG!!! As an ex-Irish Dancer, and a current dance teacher (incl.tap) this video TOTALLY turned me on! Who are the dancers and where can I get a copy of this performance??? I love how the tap guys did some old school Nicholas Brothers type stuff. Also, the music was amazing. It's great to see such a high caliber performance of teo dance styles that are so intimately and historically linked. THNX FOR POSTING IT!!!
