i don't think people are pissed that it's a "basic toss" or anything like that. they're pissed about false advertisement. the title says AWESOME, which sets me up to see something crazy like a partner switch, behind the back stuff. if it just said COLOR GUARD TOSS, perhaps you might get less viewers, but you'd also get less haters.

I thought this was really cool (: This has been my first year of color guard, and we were without an advisor (sp?) and the one or two members left from the previous year had to teach me a lot of what I know, though every thing is in the practice. Though basic, there is such a thing as making something "basic" look difficult (: I'm going to try this toss in the routine I will be writing for clinics in the next two weeks! Thank you for posting this!

You guys need to chill with the rude comments. Seriously. You don't know what kind of experience she had when they taped this. Maybe she had just learned it and was really excited. Maybe she was just messing around. Maybe SHE thought it was awesome. Theres no reason to get all worked up over a video of a toss.

that was definently a basic " cone out " toss , try some 45's, and flats , and paralles , then you can call it an "awesome color guard toss" :)

i whent to hartshorne before now i go to McGavok in Nashville thank you very much. and my friend taped this when i was just messing around. ive been to state competitions for my solos and got superior ratings so i dont need to prove to anyone how good i am

If you can do that same toss, spin around and then catch, or if you could do an extension toss from behind your back and catch it in front, or if you could lean over and do a helicopter spin on your back, OR if you could make your flag spin like a helipcopter in the palm of your hand, then I will say you're awesome. Otherwise you're just doing the same basic stuff everyone else is doing, Sorry I know that sounds really rude, colorguard just brings out my competitive side lol
