Its good with lemon sauce! btw i use Toothpicks to take the snail out then i dip it with any type of sauce.

@FoodOddities It's no problem. Kind of like bacon is just pork, But, It's called bacon as It's prepared specific and It's from a particular area of the pig. 'Else It'd just be pork. You have nice videos. It amuses me to find someone that has similar interests in cuisine as me. I wish I lived near some shops that sell those cuisine though, I have to get mine imported.

snails are good in everyway. But NEVER to RAW. Parasites in it and all . Sweet and sour Snails are delicious. But i prefer eating it plain cooked.

btw, your snail there is kinda different from what i ate. i used to eat escargot at Singapore. but in my country, Indonesia. Jakarta to be exact. Our snail is kinda spicy and delicious. You must love it. if u happen go to Jakarta, u can contact me and i will be ur guide to try what u called oddities but quite normal in here. like our snail, snake soup, bird nest, shark fin, saksang. :)

They are big and we wash them very well with alum, lemon, lime and salt to get all the slime out and cook them in soup. i'M Nigerian and it is a very important and expensive delicacy

Snails are one thing I had immense trouble forcing myself to eat the first time I tried them. I think it's because I looked at them too closely. I like them now though, although I can't eat more than half a dozen at a time - for some reason they fill me right up.

Well, I live in Spain and snails are quite popular in here. You can even go to an orange field and pick your own snails to prepare them later. I can't stand why Spanish people laugs and says "EEECK" to other countries' food. I use to taste almost anything. I ate jellyfish and sea cucumber when I was in Malaysia and it was really delicious.
