I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I know, I sound stupid for saying it but, this movie should be more beloved. I mean seriously, it has duckbill robots. Thanks to Cinema Snob for introducing me to this wonderful film.
Agreed. Star Odyssey has a kind of goofy atmosphere that just makes it so lovable (if it doesn't make you fall asleep, that is. The film IS boring).
If you liked Star Odyssey, check out two other films that have nothing to do with it other than recycled costumes and sets, Cosmos: War of the Planets and War of the Robots. As I said, they're not sequels or anything, they're simple a product of crappy producers milking crappy props and costumes for all their worth. D:
My favorite bit is the scene with the two men talking which is totally stolen by the garbage can robot with the oven-mitt hands. When a friend and I were watching it, we had to stop the movie because we were laughing too hard!
I have to admit that for about three years now this has been my all time favorite bad, grade Z movie. I was lucky enough to find it for a dollar at Target at Halloween in 2007. I used to watch it like once a month. It is a brilliant find. I highly recommend it to all bad movie lovers. It's actually watchable but soooooo pathetic and cheap.

This movie needs more of a cult following. Also, why is it that all bad movies have a really kick ass theme song? I still have it stuck in my head!

@Vonyco I have actually seen both films. In fact, I saw War of the Robots years before I saw Star Odyssey. Thank you, I totally agree with you.

When I saw his latest review, I knew it was only a matter of time before somebody referenced the Cinema Snob in a comment.

This is not a "B" movie it is way further down to maybe "R" or "S"; just really weird in that dubbed movie way.
