Re-reading some old "Bird Talk" magazines, it states in the May 2007 issue (p. 39): "Budgies' eyes and brains process visual information more quickly than ours do. So, although a television looks normal to us, it looks choppy to them, like when a film projector is running too slowly." I wonder, and do you know, if this also applies to cockatiels?

This is gorgeous! We've discovered our cockatiel, Spike, loves to watch TV too. And when we put his cover on at night, we have to leave the corner nearest the telly up or he gets cross at us!

His absolute favourite DVD is 'Australia - Land of Parrots.' He squeees and flies around the room whenever there are flocks of parrots on screen. XD
