Oh Gosh! This video made me sick to my stomache! I had never watched anything like it. I have the most amazing 5 year old son(well he will be 5 in Jan) and never once thought of abortion. I was 17 my mom told me I had three options, 1 to have him 2. to abort or 3. to give him up. Of course I kept him!
Now I can't have another child, but this makes me sooo sick! I wish the people who don't want kids couldn't have them and us that do could instead of this sad thing!

Are there any recent videos available (I admit I haven't searched for them)? This would be most helpful in presenting the true picture of what's happening today, which of course, is much more prevalent=horrendous (thank you Planned Parenthood) .They lure poor and uneducated victims, withholding the facts from them. Doesn't matter whether they ARE poor or uneducated (some of the best mothers are). They deserve to know what is happening to their babies and their bodies.
I also feel it is a different story, when you're talking about a fetus that is less than five weeks of conception. There is no thought there, no thought process and no pain. It's different in situations wherein the fetus is viable. Those are, and always will be, wrong.

When I found out I was pregnant, after dating my boyfriend for less than a month, I scheduled an abortion. At the clinic, I was asked if I would like to see an ultrasound picture before the actual procedure. I agreed. I was pregnant with twins and immediately called off the abortion, especially after seeing the fetuses. If I had not requested to see the ultrasound results, I would have been told after the abortion that it had been twins.

about 10 years ago, i went into premature labor with twins.(24 weeks gestation). The doctors actually told me the best "choice" for me to make was to terminate baby a to save baby b. Really? TERMINATE my own baby? I refused. They transferred me to a different hospital. A week later a gave birth to 2 girls. TWO. I didn't have to terminate any. I watched this video in christian school...it turned my stomach for days and it still does, but I also understand the desperation of a girl or woman who is pregnant and scared to death to bring a child into the world. I had that experience. I was married but seeking out of the relationship and suddenly I was pregnant and even though I detested the idea on one hand, I was looking at abortion clinics..I decided to have her though and very glad I did. It's sickening how the baby is pulled apart. I almost got an abortion, single mom with an older child & didn't know what to do. Even came down to calling the clinic to make the appt. The girl on the other end though said no, she wasn't making the appt cuz it sounded like I wasn't sure & that I wouldn't go through w/it anyway. I'm glad I didn't. Breaks my heart. I would never kill my baby, no matter what the situation was, I was give it up for an adoption to someone who isn't able to have children or keep it and raise it the best way I could. i know people often bring up "what about rape" but the fact is fertilization from rape is incredibly rare. rape is undeniably terrible and can damage a womans mind and body forever but is abortion the best solution? abortion too takes a heavy toll on a womans happiness and health. it is degrading, painful, and just as much of a violation of womanhood as rape is. talk to women who have had abortions, they will tell you about the lasting feelings of pain and guilt. it is a burden on the soul.

ok i'm in no way asking for a fight, but some women take precautions, and men do too, but pregnancy CAN still happen. now if you take precautions doesn't this show that your not ready or want a child just yet? do they still have no choice then? what if a mother has an unwanted child and harms herself or the child? what if the unwanted child is raised in poverty and is abused? what if the mother has mental health issues? what if the unwanted child could be born serverly handicaped?

However, there are plenty of medical indications to emergently deliver the fetus, whether or not it is viable (such as malignant pre-eclampsia, a life threatening complication of pregancy for the mother). In this situation, the fetus is delivered to save the mother's life. The medical indications aside, all other indications are economic, social, religious, ethical, and personal decisions. Again, any rhetoric will do to argue either side, which is not my point.

(Anyone could collect a list of physicians with the opposite opinion, too). If you wish to find what I am referring to, buy an obstetrics textbook. There are Christian charities all over the world that care for children, dwarfing anything Planned Parenthood ever thought of. Pro-life organizations are merely one branch of Christian charity, and they have a calling to unborn children. And no, I really think that every human being, regardless of whether you were born out of wed-lock or your father raped your mother, still has the right to life. Period. I also feel it is a different story, when you're talking about a fetus that is less than five weeks of conception. There is no thought there, no thought process and no pain. It's different in situations wherein the fetus is viable. Those are, and always will be, wrong.

hollisorlando, by the time a woman typically knows that she is pregnant, the gestational age of the baby is 4 to 6 weeks. Brain activity has been measured at 40 days and heartbeats at 6 weeks. The unborn baby is human and alive. No one knows for sure whether the baby feels pain or not or what type of consciousness the unborn baby may have -- but, that is beside the point. MURDER IS MURDER. To kill an adult who is under a general anesthetic (who feels no pain and is not conscious) is MURDER.

When I found out I was pregnant, after dating my boyfriend for less than a month, I scheduled an abortion. At the clinic, I was asked if I would like to see an ultrasound picture before the actual procedure. I agreed. I was pregnant with twins and immediately called off the abortion, especially after seeing the fetuses. If I had not requested to see the ultrasound results, I would have been told after the abortion that it had been twins.
I'm still torn about being pro-life and pro-choice but..

Here's a creepy point. The owner of the plane that crashed last week in Montana is Irving Feldkamp, who is the country's leading abortion provider. Just to tell you how much the doctors know, a year later I got pregnant again. Of course it was not a planned pregnancy, but a baby nonetheless. My doctor actually told me to seriously consider my choice, as I was too high risk to try this again. I couldn't believe it. It seemed to be their answer for all problem pregnancies. When I said no, she very rudely told me if I didn't TERMINATE, I could go home and wait for an early miscarriage. So my choice, kill my own baby, or leave it up to God.

about 10 years ago, i went into premature labor with twins.(24 weeks gestation). The doctors actually told me the best "choice" for me to make was to terminate baby a to save baby b. Really? TERMINATE my own baby? I refused. They transferred me to a different hospital. A week later a gave birth to 2 girls. TWO. I didn't have to terminate any. Yeah it was a long road but hear I am 10 yrs. later with 2 beautiful daughters.

I watched this video in christian school...it turned my stomach for days and it still does, but I also understand the desperation of a girl or woman who is pregnant and scared to death to bring a child into the world. I had that experience. I was married but seeking out of the relationship and suddenly I was pregnant and even though I detested the idea on one hand, I was looking at abortion clinics..I decided to have her though and very glad I did. I love my girl with all I have.

It's sickening how the baby is pulled apart. I almost got an abortion, single mom with an older child & didn't know what to do. Even came down to calling the clinic to make the appt. The girl on the other end though said no, she wasn't making the appt cuz it sounded like I wasn't sure & that I wouldn't go through w/it anyway. I'm glad I didn't. I wish I could find her today & thank her, I now have a beautiful 9 yr old boy! Thank you where ever you are! This is murder & noone should do it.

I would never kill my baby, no matter what the situation was, I was give it up for an adoption to someone who isn't able to have children or keep it and raise it the best way I could. i know people often bring up "what about rape" but the fact is fertilization from rape is incredibly rare. rape is undeniably terrible and can damage a womans mind and body forever but is abortion the best solution? abortion too takes a heavy toll on a womans happiness and health. it is degrading, painful, and just as much of a violation of womanhood as rape is. talk to women who have had abortions, they will tell you about the lasting feelings of pain and guilt. it is a burden on the soul.

ok i'm in no way asking for a fight, but some women take precautions, and men do too, but pregnancy CAN still happen. now if you take precautions doesn't this show that your not ready or want a child just yet? do they still have no choice then? what if a mother has an unwanted child and harms herself or the child? what if the unwanted child is raised in poverty and is abused? what if the mother has mental health issues? what if the unwanted child could be born serverly handicaped?

Informed consent, however, is not about TERRORIZING WOMEN INTO THINKING THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS. From a medico-legal standpoint, the mother comes first, the fetus second. Look it up.

I agree both are human beings. However, there are plenty of medical indications to emergently deliver the fetus, whether or not it is viable (such as malignant pre-eclampsia, a life threatening complication of pregancy for the mother). In this situation, the fetus is delivered to save the mother's life. The medical indications aside, all other indications are economic, social, religious, ethical, and personal decisions. Again, any rhetoric will do to argue either side, which is not my point.

(Anyone could collect a list of physicians with the opposite opinion, too). If you wish to find what I am referring to, buy an obstetrics textbook. I asked different prolifers if they were willing to stop harrassing of girls and help them and be there for them, they all told me "I DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF TIME TO DEDICATE BECAUSE I HAVE MY OWN FAMILY TO TAKE CARE OF". My statements are not false. Im a mother of 2 beatiful girls and 33 yrs old and I have seen and experienced things that make me glad to be pro choice. Thank you for these informative videos and i agree that every women needs to watch this or some other informative video before having an abortion....and lilsasami...ur ignorance is showing....babies are gifts from God that he has entrusted to our care...so no matter the gestational age Abortion is still murder...the fetus is still human no matter what it's age and murdering it is no different in my eyes than murdering ur newborn child.

how can a statistic be made to say how many illegal abortions were given in one year? that may just be a conjecture, and is not based in scientific fact, which is an issue with the whole Silent Scream video.

lilsasami, a 40 week old pre-born baby is significantly more developed than a 25 week old premature born baby, as one of my videos clearly show. If the 25 week old baby is a human being, then the more developed 40 week old baby is clearly a human being.

There are Christian charities all over the world that care for children, dwarfing anything Planned Parenthood ever thought of. Pro-life organizations are merely one branch of Christian charity, and they have a calling to unborn children. Those with a calling to the born spend a ton of money and time, so to say that we Christians don't care about the born is ridiculous. Check out Compassion International.

Topazkat 73, I'm only 21 but yes I have volunteered at a hospital and donated to both World Vision and Compassion International, so I am willing to help people. And no, I really think that every human being, regardless of whether you were born out of wed-lock or your father raped your mother, still has the right to life. Period. The man who rapes a woman should have to pay considerable child support for the rest of his life and go to jail for a long time.

Ok why are you giving parental rights to a person who is violent and disregards a womans right to not be raped. There are many rapists out there that would love to know that they have a child out there and making them pay child support would see it as a right to that child. Would you like knowing if your father raped your mother because of that law?

Whoah, hold up just a second. I did not say have any parental rights whatsoever. You inferred something from my statement that simply wasn't there. I also don't see how the mother would have to tell the child where the money was coming from, think about it for a second. The father would not have to have any legal rights to the child and the mother would not have to tell the child about the the situation. Under any given circumstance, killing the child should not be an option.
