ok i have a prepaid sim card for a sidekick lx...i used sum1 elses simcard to open my g1 and set up my gmail account on my g1 and thn i put my prepaid sim in the g1...all i can do is call and text but i want 3g service on my sim card so i can go to the internet and goto the market to download apps... but i cnt because my simcard is not 3g its prepaid...is tht possible to do plz let me knoe 1

Hey I unlocked my G 1 and than put an ATT sim card in. It worked once but now I cant get the phone to read the card again. It just keeps searching. What can I do to fix this?

Hey bro it's true that if I have an unlocked G1 and don't have a data plan it becomes useless because it asks every time for some google account activation???

I'm asking because I don't live in the USA and I'm getting an unlocked G1 soon, but here data plans are very expensive...so currently I don't have one, that's why i'm planning to use the internet with wifi.

well i insert a tmobile simcard.... then i insert my att simcard.... i had this phone for 1 month but i got tired of it lol... i got a blackberry bold know... and in 2 weeks ima get the "HTC TOUCH HD" or ima wait for the new "NOKIA N97"...
