The USA mint is not selling proof 2009 silver eagles nor mint state uncirculated 2009 silver eagles. They claim all planchets are being used for the 2009 bullion silver eagle.
well actually he is open to your best offer so you could well get that amount alot less than spot and you probbaly would.
To be honest the way I feel $23.16/ounce is still dirt cheap compared to what the price will be when the manipulation stops the ETFs fail, the Comex defaults, the gold to silver ratio snaps back and finally the those FRNs go down the toilet.
Comex will never default because the fine printe always says settled in US dollars even the perth mint certificates and etf's actually made gold and silver defaults impossible because they again settle in US dollars on any default. There has never been and never will be a court that settles defaults in actual physical because the settlement is in US dollars which is still the world reserve currencies until Triffin's Paradox gets solved by IMF SDR's.
The US Mint is cranking out 1-oz silver eagle bullion coins, but there are two other silver eagles (proof and uncirculated) which have yet to see the light of day in 2009. The proof version is normally available in February, and the uncirc version in summer, but all production capacity has been diverted to the bullion coins. All three versions use the same blanks so the two numismatic items have not been produced because the bullion coins were given priority. This has never happened before.
Interesting. I can only wonder what will happen if the price of silver falls down to say 15 dollars. One funny thing is that the premiums remain high, that can only mean there is a distrust in the market. I have also noticed that US peace dollars have a very high premium. I think Franklin Sanders wrote about this as "horizontal devolution" in the scramble down Exters pyramid towards the ultimate safe have: gold and silver
ok so a shortage comes and we cant buy until its @ about 34 and of course this manipulation is done until 100 but of course of the years ,when you try to sell on outrages dips, they say they wont be accepting metals at this time, until it goes back up again. The penny stocks do the same thing, you cant get in and out fast enough, only the big$ moves.
My neighbor is a coin/silver/gold dealer. He has a shop in a suburban town. He said last week the town called him and wants to meet with him regarding gold/silver. He said this has never happened before (opeded for 14 years) and he is not sure if they want to hire him as a consultant for a large purchase or if they want to purcahse from him directly. I asked him about shortages too. He said the last week there has been a major disruption in the gold and silber market.
ISN'T IT BETTER TO HOLD COINS FOR A HIGHER PREMIUM WHEN THE PRICE DOES SKYROCKET? PLUS THE TRADABILITY OF SMALLER DENOMINATIONS IF THE DOLLAR COLLAPSES? BEEN PAYING MORE FOR COINS THAN BULLION FOR THAT REASON. PLUS EASIER TO SELL SMALLER STUFF IF THE PRICE IS THAT HIGH ie AFFORDABILITY? THANKS FOR THE UPDATES MATE!
I think you'll gain more if you buy as much silver as possible without the premium. When you buy the 1kg silver coins you already paid maybe 20-30% premium and if silver price goes higher you'll probably only make 20-30% premium or less when you sell
So much junk gold and silver has hit the market and been refined back to bullion that there is an excess supply. You know all the jewelry sent in for cash by the tons.
when you do come to shorten up on your silver position, how do you think you will sell? or do you think the people that need the silver for producting will find us??
Hey John, to tell you the truth when I go to the Austrian Mint Shop which is situated right next to the mint it self they ve always had the policy of selling 20 philharmonics per customer. I know that this policy was implemented after the financial crisis (I think Lehman's fall) up until 3 months ago where I stopped going there (I'm getting my coins from another deal without these stupid limits)..... If you want you can call them and find out your self :)
APMEX fully stocked. They are running a 1 million ounce sale at the present. .49 cents over spot plus shipping and handling., which amounts to 75.00 for a 100 ounce purchase on the credit card. If you pay cash the shipping is 25.00
Would REALLY like U.S. junk Dimes ... for "trading" purposes ... If silver goes to the roof, and there is a real "crash" in the social system and you need to buy food or other necessities, how do you buy a loaf of bread with a $500 Silver Eagle or a100 oz bar??
I've noticed increased demand for silver bullion on my website. I'm almost sold out of most products right now, and finding restock is tough at anywhere near reasonable prices.
Why don't they just buy another coin press and hire a couple more full time workers, if demand is so high for their minting service, and there is no shortage of the metal? What kind of horrible business practices are they using? :-/
the commercials have a strike price where they make the most money... so they knock it down - get the money - and let it go back up... ill explain it in next vid... its 4 minutes until options expire as i write this now... looks like bob chapman is 100% correct as to where he said they would knock gold down to.
Thanks for that stella. Good vid, he just naturally gave his prediction...wasnt even thinking or adding numbers. Ill watch some more of his stuff later.
I visit the Royal Canadian Mint in august and did not notice or heard anything special , one that appear funny to me is that they issue numismatic collection of dinosaure 4 pieces each spring . The collection started in 2007 and one each following year so 2008 the latest in spring 2009 . Now I have purchase the 2010 coin last week , almost 8 month ahead. Just find this strange ??? There fall catalog is comming soon let s see what it will look like !
So let me get this straight: The Perth Mint is saying they are not taking new orders because of increased demand, but there is no metals shortage. Right. That makes sense. :)
Those coins can be used as currency depending on who minted it. Maples can be used in Canada.
If you used it at a store they would take it at face value(so you have 50 or 5 dollars cash). Now no one in their right mind would do this because the metal is worth more but they have to legally accept it.
Thanks John! It's weird though... Apmex is trying to dump metals... got an e-mail from them yesterday. They're trying to sell 1 million ounces by the end of Sept. I think something's coming in October.
yea i just think they want to profit by buying low and selling while the price is high.
remember they just care about profit margin and the price has risen drastically, they want to get as many sales as possible... its not about where they think silver is headed i dont think
I agree 100% with that take. They (APMEX) loaded up on blanks and various other silver products a few months ago with $11 silver and now its time to take their margin. This is what they always do and how they make their money (in addition, of course, to their premiums) Hopefully they're buying now too with the expectation of further price increases, but I don't know about that unless they're aware of price suppression (which I hope they are being in that business)
Selling what they had bought at $11 and buying more now would be the same as holding. I don't think they are holding, it seems that silver has topped out for the time being and will be flat for the foreseeable future.
exactly right, and this makes sense IF they're aware of the price suppression scheme and that a physical shortage is imminent. If you think silver is going to be flat for the foreseeable future, either you're not familiar with the real silver market or you're listening to MSNBC too much. I don't know where the price will be in a month, but it won't be flat, that's for sure.
Fed report yesterday said they were not concerned with inflation at this time. Therefore rates stayed unchanged. Also due to the fact that things seem to be working... People hear that media shit and eat it up. Warren Buffet came out today in an article and said inflation is coming in the near future. So I would call that a split as far as media goes. Im buying today at the low. Until I see dollar index go up, I have no reason not too.
Hopefully. Looking at the intra-day charts for both silver and gold later this morning both got knocked down hard at about the same time. This is obvious manipulation we've been seeing by those on the short side which include central banks and their proxy's. They'll attempt to kill it as it volumn dries up. I wouldn't chase the price. IMHO, It needs to test that 1K dollar sound barrier a few times, then it's buy-buy baby to new highs. It'll want news before it'll take off.
The Fed said the strong US dollar is vital for US national security and they would slowing devalue the US dollar. Which means corrections to the upside are possible but in the long run 50% or more further devaluation of the US dollar.
Isn't it funny that by saying what they actually said (that the suspension is not due to a shortage of metal), that they inadvertently told us what they were actually attempting to stop us from finding out.
Hysterical.
Either they are that dumb, or they mistakenly think we are.
This ALWAYS happens to me. By the time I "discover" something cool, like giant-sized coins... they stop making them!!!
It's uncanny. I'm always a day late and a dollar short, I just don't get it.
Here's a tip: if you find something REALLY COOL, whatever you do, don't tell me about it... unless you want it to go away. It only seems to work with the stuff that I find cool as well...
I have a local coin shop i've thought about buying from. They have 1oz. Walking Liberty's for $2.00 over spot. This a good deal? I'd much prefer to buy local but I want to make sure i'm making realistic purchases. Realistic meaning that these are easy to buy things with if needs be. Thanks.

I'm still surprised that gold is still above 1,000 with only a quick and shallow pull back. It's looking like a break out?

I hope not.. I get my salary next thursday and I want to buy lots of silver/gold ...

Have a look at the USDX at the same time.
I don't think that this is manipulation (Sept. 24th).
USDX went up quite quick and therefore SLV/GLD had to fall about the same percentage.
Interesting would just be why USDX made that move, but I don't see any sign that would prevent the USDX from falling deeper.

Cheer's stella.

Or they watched John's previous vid when he shared the first letter and he mentioned a pending shortage! I'll go with that one :)

I wish I found war and suffering cool...

LOL.
In that case, are you familiar with the silver and gold price manipulation scheme? :)

He shaves his bruised butt for the oligarchy to kick, and cries about the beard covering the stretch marks around his mouth.
God ruined a perfect ass (hole) when he put teeth in Bernanki's mouth.
