Dude! How cool! I am glad you had this experience. I've tried to talk to the door-knockers and they freak when they see my pentacle. Glad you had a good time! thanks for sharing this!
Yeah interesting story but that kind of thing is pretty rare. He may have just been trying to win you over that way. Imagine the stories he'd have to tell at his church. They'll do that kind of thing.
we had a door knocker here a while back and my niece opened the door wearing her pentagram and the man at the door, holding his bible and pamphlets in hand took one look at her and apoligised and left. And after that we never got any door knockers anymore.
I would love to wear my robes all the time and unlike you, I live in a very open minded culture here in Vancouver, Canada. So I could wear me robes. :D I am not a morning person either, except when I'm raising ducks!
Wow, this was a wonderful story! If more missionaries were this open to an exchange of religious ideas and concepts, I wouldn't have such an 'ugh' reaction to them whenever they decide to show up on my doorstep!
Great story, man. I'm afraid I don't know what denomination this gentleman represented. It's possible he could have been wearing the hat because, like you and your robes (which I think are pretty cool, BTW) he may have just felt comfortable in it. I'm afraid without more information it may be difficult to tell.
Wow man you got yourself a nice door knocker. I have to ask, did you send this to my video as a video response? Because if you did, it did not show up yet. As far as the hat, sometimes a hat is just a hat.
@TheWICCACHANNEL sounds like a shriner. As far as I know FM's share some symbology with pagans. My stepfather is a master mason and knows I'm pagan and he was very good about it. He used to drive me to meetings.
