I believe people are NOT voting for Obama because of white guilt. Things like slavery are a thing of the past, but there are still things like affirmative action still going on trying to give back to minorities. I know it is just legal to account for when accepting college students and it is not the only factor used for enterance.Issues have sprung up in the past like the School of Law in Mich. and accounts have been taken, but not solve this racial equality. There is "White Guilt" because the white man has had and still does to some extent, though not as much as before, the power, the upper hand and the "benefit of the doubt."

I agree there might be some white guilt with Obama, but at last some people may say, that there is someone articulate who can represent the multicultural climate of our nation. The rest of the world is by majority non-white. Will he be more "relatable" on a world-wide scale?
