What amazes me is that no one realizes how much surface area is really needed on those wings to actually lift a person off the ground. Even in the movie Legion, that guy's wings were way too small. He would have needed at least a good two feet or more on EACH wing to get him off the ground. And the clip with Max showed her total wingspan to be about three or more feet too short to keep her in the air. Humans are heavy; a lot of air needs to be displaced for us to fly.
