Ah yes, the Tamiya Kubel! I remember building this... some 35 years ago!! :) :) But this kit is ageless... I think I did mine Panzer grey, but I'm not sure. Either way, yours is just simply beautiful.. :) I have an Italeri Kubel in 1/35 to do, I bought it second hand for a couple of pounds, very cheap.. But when built I'm sure it will loook fine, or at least I hope so! :)

@BasicModelling thanks alot rob! this kit is truely ageless and perfect in my opinion, thats maybe the reason why there is no "smart kit photo etched high value extreme professional edition high end - kit" from dragon or any other brand beside tamiya and italeri. a kübelwagen-model is always fine work in between some other projekst :)

@101stAirbornefilms i actually don´t know why this happens from time to time, sometimes the decals don´t silver even a little and sometimes the effect is very visible.

I will simply reiterate what everyone else has said, minus the bit about the pizza, but with the beer! I probably wont be throwing any badgers tonight - angry or otherwise - either. I may gently lob a shrew or two simply because this is such a perfect example of a Kublewagen. Also, I couldn't figure out how to do the umlauts over the 'u' so here they are in vertical format : ;) Have a great modelling weekend my friend! :)

i don´t know how english people could write some nice umlaute on their keypads, they are beautiful, aren´t they? :) äöü and ß of course (which isn´t a umlaut but looks cool aswell!)

my weekend will be full of modelling for sure, i will visit a big model exhibition in friedrichshafen tomorrow, will take some pics and vids of it to share it with my friends here :) happy modelling mate!

@MakingModelsAgain Oh, I do miss a good umlaut, from time to time!! Being Swedish they come natural to me, but not to my keyboard, unfortunately... Badger throwing? Shrew lobbing? What is going on? Has the YouTube modelling fraternity gone mad now I'm not here to keep things in order?? :) :)

I think youve done an awesome job on this...to celebrate i shall now eat a large pizza and swill some beer..after which i shall toss an angry badger into an elevator full of people just as the doors are almost closed...great friday night fun for all : )
