I have a rug that is colored based on place value. units green strip, tens blue, hundreds red and thousands green. I was taught to put 1 at nbootom and 9 at top to show growth of quantity. This is backwards. This is what makes me confused about AMS. I wish I could have been trained AMI too. I like a set way and find this problem alot when I speek to coworkers about lessons and process.

It absolutely DRIVES ME CRAZY that your rug is so distracting!!!
The rug is supposed to be a plain neutral color (with no patterns) that does not compete for the child's attention...or cause visual confusion when they are trying to focus on the material and lesson.
WHY do you use this rug in all of your videos?????
