Russian Circles is more original than Metallic because of song structure and the way they write music. Sit down and listen to Station and Geneva.

@kennyisd0wn In the latest edition of Modern Drummer magazine (the one with the guy from Kiss on the cover), the drummer for Russian Circles says that he doesn't use a click. They just rehearse the songs for months before touring them to make sure they're tight.

A good monitoring-system must be the secret. I'd say, the guitarplayer uses two different amps and only the looped signal goes through the monitors of the drummer. Plus the drummer is a total timing machine.
