ok ok, guys lets think, they just made a pointless lie about a flood, why did they have the need to do this? the news ?? what else is a lie? ,...... think about it

isnt the "flash" floods being caused by the massive amout of water being let out of major dams/catchments?

but still my heart goes out to every one.

@markwick11 no. we're on top of a mountain in toowoomba. this flash flood was caused by up to 200mm of rain (8 inches) falling on the city in 30 mins. water from the wivenhoe dam is being released which is contributing to the flooding in brisbane but that is how the dam is supposed to operate. it has saved brisbane until now and they have been given 24 hours notice of what's to come. before the dam was there it would come without warning.

@markwick11 toowoomba isn't flooded. this event in the vid was over in just over an hour. 30 minute storm event and then another 30-40 mins for the water to run away. everything is almost back to normal here. it's those poor bastards at the bottom of the hill who bore the brunt of the flooding in withcott and grantham. devastating scenes there

The news said that this car had a Mother and child in it. :( So sad.

@TheCRU54 there was no one in that car. it was parked at anderson's carpets and belonged to the manager. the mother and son were washed away at the kitchener/james intersection
