The alligator was retrieved by his assistant behind him, then later replaced with a fake tail which he "moved" by himself. He uses great effects but this time his assistant blew it away. Also the logo work was magnetic, very classic for moving objects. The table must be setup somehow beforehand.

At 5:37, he puts back just his left hand back on the shirt, creating an illusion that the alligator was still there. here at 5:39 its very obvious that he is reaching for his right side pocket for What? a fake tail. as the fake tail slowly retracts from the shirt, he folded it slowly that the viewer wont see how it disappear.
