  • Good job - don't let anyone tell you less because those are the ones not doing shit

  • The camera shoot 720p why isn't in 720p?

  • Why all the haters? That guy did a really good job with the camera shots, except for a few clips that was too long.

  • @madichelp0 I think it has potential, I love the classic film "The Time Machine" released in 1960 and directed by George Pal.

@sunridgevideo He most likely used a crane to achieve such smooth pans?

  • Why is that guy doing math? :/

  • Klaus Badelt's Time Machine music. Such a great soundtrack to such a crappy movie.

  • do you have an adapter attached to the lens?

  • excellent job

  • Guys seriously give him some credit, he did a good job. I want all to all your guy's channels and most of you hadnt even uploaded a video.

  • its a little blurry, would that have anything to do with the file format/ upload quality?

  • This looks like a good will hunting ripoff. just the way you shot it, and do the slow dissolve and such.

  • Spelling doesn't matter...I think it's creative. I like it! Good Job!!

  • hey!really sorry for that.

english is not my native language!

    ..oh yeap.."Enertainment" and other mistakes..

  • You mispelled "entertainment" and the movie company names.

  • that was probably on purpose.

  • I was very hurried

  • Well you have to be careful. As a video professional "being hurried" is not a good excuse at not getting names correctly. Just keep that in mind when you finish you film.

  • yay for non to the point shots...

  • Looks interesting, but yeah, definitely shoot at 1/48s or 1/50s shutter speed!

  • dreem works entertainment? LOL how original

  • great cinematography

  • whats up with the titanic music

  • that's "The Time machine" music maaan)

  • sounds like titanic lol.

  • Oh man!!! no shuter 1/25 plz! destroys the cinemotion! :)

  • there was some sort of filter or 35mm adapter used right?

  • Can you tell me what version of dvx family 100, 100a, 100b this piece was shot with?

  • It's nice. Good lighting and colors.

Do you remember what shutter you used here?

It looks like 1/24 (or 1/25 if PAL)..

The movements looks sort of videoish..

You should try to keep the shutter at 1/48 to get a good motion blur..

  • 24p? how did you get this look? any filters, adapters?

  • does it come with a firewire cable?

  • no.you must buy it.

  • this is from the dvx100?? sick, k now im getting this camera, ive been waiting for something like this thank you

  • ooh this music<3, what is it?

  • I think it's from remake of The Time Machine.

  • its totally different dog

  • did u use any other filters or lenses to achieve that look? it's great, just what I'm looking for to start my production.

  • I wish i could afford this camcorder. I really like it.

  • I've seen some great footage achieved with the Canon HV20 and HV30. You can shoot in 24/30F which is v.close to panasonics 24/30P in look. I think the HV is less than half the cost of the DVX. You should take a look at some user footage on vimeo.

  • Hey I am using the DVX-100 to film a mountain biking film, do you know how to film at a higher frame rate on this camera if possible?

  • This was Very interesting. I just got a DVX100b myself. Looking forward to using it.

  • What is your camera DVX 100 But quality is goood ?

  • Bandixx the quality is awesome

  • you use GRIP ???

  • Nice..Did you use the 24p for this? Or what settings did you use.

  • Good job.

  • Great footage! I read some of your responses and you said you changed the speed to 100% to 90%. Did u do that on the camera? and how?

  • no.i did it on the postproduction

  • Hi What music is this? gr8 clock shot by the way looks very professional

  • hey!

    Thats music from "time machine"

  • So you composed your own music? I wuld love to be able to get it for my personal cllectin. Let me know if you bring out the soundtrack.

  • Hi, I just want to know that if you have a chang to working with the two new camera

Sony EX1 and Sony HVR Z7U? Please let me know if you have any information about this two camera.

    Thanks

  • no!i didnt work with them, but its very intresting for me.

    thats HD? or HDV cameras?thanx

  • vegas video or after effects by adobe.

  • I can't believe you didn't use an adapter.

    1) What are your DVX Scene File settings? (ie. Detail Level, Chroma Level, Master Ped, etc.)

    2) What shutter speed did you use?

    Beautiful job!

  • hey there!

    thanx!

I'v use tha default camera settings, only the shutter speed was 1-60.

All other work i made with postroduction help))

i reall didnt use any adapters.Only right lighting,( 4000K )

slow motion after shooting (frtom 100 to 90%) and dont use the progressive mode.

    !good luck!)and thanx!

  • excelent job. you should watch my vids and give me some tips :D

  • what file did you use to export it out? how did you get it so clear? what i mean is how did you get that look for under 100mb?

  • hey.

i made color correction, vertical blur, britnes and contast.and slow motion from 100 to 92 percents.

  • what did you use to move the camera any cheap equipments or any lights tripod ect

thanks by the way sharing these

its great film look qulity and grea cinematography ooooh lovley music go ahead m8 you can do it lol

  • hey!

    we've built the own dolly)

  • is this 320 x 240?

  • yeap!

  • hey man thats some good footage. it would have looked more like a movie if shot in 24 p although im not sure what look you were trying to achieve. but good work!

  • hey!thanx, but.

i'v tested it (24 or standart fps) many times before, and i think it heve more look lice film when it shot on standart DV fps and then slowing down speed from 100% to 92-94, and after that rendered in 24 fps.

  • FINALLY! Some movement with the camera! I'm sick of watching films where the camera is stationary. MOVEMENT!! And also, not only was there movement, but there was diversity in the shots and all you were doing was filming a dude doing math on a piece of paper. Thank you. You understand key components to the art of film making. I want to see a real full length film with dialogue.

  • i hate it, i think its awful and needs to do alot more to be worth any recognition.... let that be the hate that fuels you to go further man, you can make it in the film industry if u can do that with just a simple camera like a DVX100

  • How is this widescreen without any adaptors?

I was under the impression the DVX-100 had no 16:9 chip, but maybe that's only the DVX-100B.

  • i'm just made a wide screen in after effects.(letter box)

    i made film frame size.for exemple 640*242. or 512*272

or other film frame size. and then rendered it in 720*576

    something like that.try.!

  • hey, great cinematography!

How do you make the very widescreen?

did you shoot this on 16:9, with anamorphic lens, or just 4:3 and then cropped?

    Cheers!

  • That's the most professional thing I've seen shot w/ the DVX100. Really nice. Send me a message when you get it done. You should create a Vimeo account.

  • Very nice!

    Is this just the DVX100?

Or did you use any adapters?

Thanks for any help, and keep up the good work!

  • we did'nt use any adapters )

    just DVX 100 and post)

  • The visual man. I gotta meet this guy. He's all about the visual. You're a filmmaker already. I like, like, like...

  • join me)thanx!

  • I think magic bullet and Redock micro slr lens adapter!

  • Very very nice I'm sure what ever you used is a secret beyond the dvx-100 but i'm not mad at cha if you figured out how to do it thats cool. But if someone taught you how share like they did with you best wishes with your project

  • brilliant. when can i we seeing more?

  • hey!)
