Yup, power levels in Bleach are pretty messed up.

Pre bankai Ichigo vs Kenpachi = draw.

Bankai + hollow Ichigo vs 6th espada = Ichigo barely wins.

Kenpachi vs 5th espada = Kenpachi one shots the guy with kendo.

Ichigo vs 4th espada = Ichigo practically gets killed but then turns into hollow.

Kenpachi vs 0 espada = Kenpachi toys with him.

The first time Ichigo used Bankai, it was WAY more epic and was actually needed. Now he just uses it as if he's drawing a regular sword. A regular Getsuga Tensho would've been enough for such low-level hollows! The way he uses it these days, it's way less epic and sometimes useless. AND HE ALMOST ALWAYS LOSES!!!!

Not really. If you leave out all the anime fillers, toshiro and komamura only uses bankai when necessary. The one overusing it WAY too much is only ichigo, who uses as much as a normal shinigami uses his sealed sword (because he's much weaker than previously). Dbz, on the other hand, is another entirely different story. End of an arc, and you'll see fighters 1000 times stronger than the last arc. Ssj quickly became a joke when little goten could use it XD

His was easy enough for him to get it in 3 days and then draw/win against a captain. If it had been any other it would have taken him too much time to go through the trouble of learning the special abilities and I can't see him doing that.
