truth be told I really hate smallvile, i was okay with that show until they "assraped" my favorite character doomsday. mostly because the doomsday graphic novel was so post to be incredibly epic but instead was a 30 second low budget tv action scene. so smallvile i dont even consider in the superman mythos anymore

The movie was great. But when I was watching it I just thought that it was one big fight scene, which is nice. But the lack of plot and the fast-paced made it seem boring, and short. I still think Green Lantern is the best to come out so far, besides Doomsday.

Kevin Conroy= batman! Couldn't have put it any better myself, although, over the years his voice has lost a certain umph, he is by far the definitive and best batman. To me this cartoon felt no better than a good episode of justice league- a bit predictable with batman deciding to fly the rocket,shades of starcrossed pt 3! And batman was a bit talktive, humorous and chummy with superman for my liking, he is usually a bit more distant, reserved and serious. Good, but could've been better!

this is the best animated comic book movie to come out between marvel and DC...this could have been put into theatres. If they made this any longer it would have felt tacked on. The story ran it's course at a brisk pace which worked well due to all the action. If you want to see an animated superhero movie better than this you'll have to wait, because it hasn't come out yet.

My only gripe was there was not enough Star Fire. You can't put her in a movie for five seconds. She's too special a character for that. Eitehr give her a fair amount of screen time and lines or don't put her in at all.

lol for some reason i want to a see a power girl movie now, but anyways my main complaint with pretty much all these animated features is the fact that they have little time to tell these stories, there really well put together regardless of the time constraints, but I wish they would atleast put in 2 hours or an hour and a half to try and flesh these characters out more.

There's a line in the comic this movie's based off of where someone mentions they need to distract Hiro (Toyman.) Someone says "How do you distract a 13 year old boy?" They all turn and look at Powergirl. She says "Why are you all looking at me? Oh..." I hate they changed it, but the Xray glasses bit is funny in the movie.

I thought it was good, just needed more time with the story and character interactions and one more giant ass fight towards the end of the film (preferably before the lex vs superman fight) like when all those supervillians coming out of the wood work and where taking on sups and bats wouldnt have hurt lol.

The director DIDNT sacrifice story to fit in action mate...THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE STORY IS IN THE GRAPHIC NOVEL. It's NOTHING but "Batman and Superman punch the living daylights out of the DC Rouges Gallery because Jeph Loeb is a fucking HACK"

These are good films. I think it started back the day 1993 when Batman: Mask of the Phantasm came out. Then Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever came out 95 and then I thought "Wow Phantasm is still a better movie then this." I knew then that something was going very right with the animation, and very wrong with the live action, and this was proven yet again with Batman & Robin in 97 and Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero which was delayed an entire year 98, because B&R suck so bad. SubZero was a success.

This isnt one of the DCAU movies though, this is based on a god-awful comic book written by Jeph Loeb, not the far more talented showrunners of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Sub-Zero, Return of the Joker etc. Just because Timm had a hand in it and Ed draws in it's style doesnt mean it's connected to that quality. As a comic, it sucks, and as a movie, it's worse.

What I said was just an unbrella statement about all the animated films that have been coming out lately from Marvel and DC.

But I will say Jeph Loeb is a better writer then David S. Goyer, who's batman films only had a good story because Nolen had a hand in it. Loeb on the other hand... well anyone who could have writen Batman: The Long Halloween has got some talent.

My favorite superhero is batman and I grew up with the animated series in the 90s and I love how in this and the new game Kevin Conroy is in it and you hit the nail right on the head when you said he is the voice of batman, could not agree more.
