Thanks man, but hey, i follow thw steps until when i got to size and click deinterlace source video,i clicked ok and it took me to the movie settings. i clicked on sound settings, it open up a window that has compressor,rate,size and use but it didn't take me to the sound detting for me to change the format and the render settings, can any one help? I am using FCE

I am importing a 1920x1080 Flash movie into FCE, and no matter what I choose, it exports Crap. It looks great before import, after import, and then when I Export it out, it looks like a dang rubix cube. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My videos look good in the viewer (on the top left) when I select them from the browser (bottom left) but as soon as I put them in the timeline and render them they look terrible and pixelated. I exported just the way you did in this video and the final product is still VERY grainy. How can I fix this? PLEASE HELP :(

if the original video footage is in SD quality, you can't make it in HD. i just tried exporting a few seconds of a timeline i did a while back and it doesn't look any different.

You can go to the Browser, and change the view to a list (that little eye at the top). And then scroll across to where it says "Anamorphic".

A new sequence is, by default, unticked.

So just tick it, and your sequence is not anamorphic.

Do this before dragging clips on, though. Otherwise it just squashes them. There is a way around that too though.

This might be the problem,

look at 1:32 in the video.  Notice how video, sound, and prepare for internet streaming is on. When you export your video category is probably turned off,

if this is not the case I am not sure what your problem is.
