@xCallofDutySnipersx Yea but that wont really help you at an old 'normal' computer. Recent computers come with Overclocking Tools, thats the easyest way to do it. But you still wont gain alot.

@jackie20ization Software is installed on the Hard Disk, not on the Ram.

Ram is temporary memory which stores data temporarily. 4Gb RAM is enough to run any kind of software. Hope that helped, have a nice day :)

what your real doing here is creating a victual ram disk on your hdd now this is much much slower that regular ram so don't reli on it very heavily as well as it is forcing your computer to read the drive as will as the ram so this puts additional load on your cpu so if your running a single core proceser your results will not be as good as some one with a better cpu i strongly encouraging you to just go buy some more ram your self go to crucal and they scan your system to see whats compatibly

You can also use a flash drive but you have to have the flash drive empty and DO NOT take it out in tell you revers the proseger and have the computer not use it to take it out. If you have a 32bit version of windows it wont use more then 4Gb of RAM.

All this will do is set your pagefile. Which is set to system managed by default. If you need more RAM go and buy some, this is not as fast as system RAM or as efficient.

@snowboardinyeha it allows some of your extra hard drive space to be used as ram, it does not give you more ram, just more memory for it to work with, no it makes no sense, and im not sure if it is jsut my laptop but max i can set it to is 4000 mb, i actually think it is for xp 4g if ram , didnt seem to load much faster, although i did test it on Team fortress 2 which has crashem my computer for ages, so im unsure. if you have a few extra gigs of hard disk space, go for it
