Im taking this song out by ear and i know almost all of my scales and if i am correct this song is based on whats supposed to be a Am and a Dm?

but because it is tuned a whole step down its based on Gm and Cm? of course its carries a harmonic minor scale,i just need to figure out exactly at what part of the scale he is commencing his solos...thiking out loud here..lol
