Loved Monty Brown. As a regular TNA watcher then, I knew they should have put the belt on him. Who cares if it might not have worked out in the long run, or if he was green. He was a new, homegrown star with a good following and a great look/gimmick. Give him a run and see what happens! At the same time, Jarrett was on another of his interminable Russo-booked title runs. As soon as they ruined Monty's momentum by heel turning him and making him a Jarret lackey, the writing was on the wall.
great body, powerful, very articulate w/ a catchy original finisher he should've been a major superstar in TNA, or even the WWE. wtf a conspiracy or what. guys w/ 1/3 of his talent are stars now. Abyss, The Miz, and the Nexus 4 starters.
