  • Love it. Praise God! Good to see someone using some inspirational music. Love the entire 116 Clique! Great tutorial just wish we could've seen it up close.

  • what is the song in this video?

  • Still don't get ittt

  • how much do you charge ?

  • im loving the song!!! :)

  • You better have that Lecrae playing girl! Lovin it and the hair. Nice job. :o)

  • what song is playing on the back ground?, and did u start twisting from root or you plaited an inch and then started the twisting?

  • Love it!!! I'm actually trying to do this on my relaxed hair :)

  • also, do you know what i would have to do to get a curled LAYERED look? do i twist my whole head the same length of do i cut the hair to the desired length for each layer? or does it just have to do with how im curling it?

  • do you happen to know how heavy the twists are or if they are heavy at all?

  • I love your tutorial ! && I love this song , they play it all the time at my church (:

  • NICE!!!! You did a very good job. I wish you lived in Los Angeles, Ca. I would let you do my hair. The girl that is doing my twisties is good, but I like the way you do it better. Keep up the good work.

  • How many packs of hair do you use?

  • Do u start twisting clock wise or counter clock wise?

  • @LovinMeSumShawn I actually go clockwise.. Hope that helps.

  • @UniQueLeeMade How long did it take you to do her hair? Also how long would say it mite take if i was going to do my own hair?

  • awesome - thank you for the detail information and the demonstration

  • "Hey, girl!" You have done it again. I have a few questions for you. What type of holding gel solution do you suggest to make the hairs look uniform? What is the best method for uniform curls (including times and temperature of water/chemical)? Last question: Who is that song by? I love it all. Keep up the great work .. as usual. God bless you, doll!

  • @Kwene360 Great ?'s!!! I love to use Jam when I'm doing these type of twists to create that "sleek" look. As far as curling, I use the yellow perm rods and dip the hair when it is BOILINGGG hottt!!! Lol. And the song is by an artist named Lecrae called "Identity"

  • I mean ima have to check it out. N try it

  • Ok ima have to check!!!

  • what kind of hair do you use?

  • what is the difference in the two. they look just the same to me. then again the sengalese twist look shinier. ok so just get like 6 packs of hair with the jel and braid like 4-6 time and then start the twist

  • This is cute so is it jus like doin kinky twists?

  • @FavoredByGod22 Thanks hun!! And yeah, it's very similar to kinky twists. The only difference is you have to keep a good amount of tension on the hair while doing it because the hair used isn't as course. Thanks for watching :)

  • this is so ugly why would you curl the ends like this ???

  • @RoastedAlmondJoy Lmbo... bc that's how my client wanted them!!

  • i have a question for u. i do hair and alot of people do it different. i am trying to get the concept of the kinky twist/ senegalese twist. i notice that there is several different types of hair to use. i like the way that u did this girl hair. i notice that u used kanakelon hair. is that better than using the bob marley hair.

  • @nikkiparks1 Great question.. Well, for Senegalese twist you use 100% Kanakelon braiding hair; however, for Kinky twist you do use the marley braid. Hope that helps =)

  • how many bags does it take to achieve this particular style? OH....AND LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDS!!!!!

  • @FoxxieRoxxie80 Hey Foxxieeeee!!! Thanks for the compliments and in total, I used 8 bags on her hair... since starting my new method though (from my latest video), I now use 7!

  • how many bags does it take to achieve this particular style?

  • Love the song! Hair came out lovely too

  • Beautiful

  • I used 100% Kanakelon Braiding hair... Check out my "Everything Senegalese Twists video", it's VERY thorough!!!

  • What kind of hair did you use?

  • @chk2001 I used 100% Kanakelon Braiding hair... Check out my "Everything Senegalese Twists video", it's VERY thorough!!!

  • These Are Pretty How Long Did It Take You?!

  • @MsLikeomg1 Thanks...About 8/9 hours!

  • Great job on her hair n can u tell me what length of hair that was

  • @JazzyBri125 Thanks!!! I'm not sure of the inch, but it's the 100% Kanakelon braiding how. Check out my latest "Everything Senegalese twists EXPOSED" vid.. it gives a little more info!

  • quoestion do you twist all the way to the end and also how do you keep ends from unraveling until ready for hot water dip please answer

  • @visweetaddie The trick to this is preparing the hair from the beginning to make sure the ends are kind of raggedy/skinny at the ends. It's just like when you're trying to braid someones hair who has a fresh hair cut, it's hard to keep the braids together... it's the same way for twists, just make sure the ends are kind of raggedy. I'm posting a more in depth vid of this in the next week!

  • Btw, I subscribedddddddddddddd<3 :) lol

  • Wow, You did an AWESOME job girl! I've never ever ever ever seen kinky twist done with REGULAR braiding hair, just usually the "MarleyBraid" or some other kind resembeling the texture of marley braid.. But using the regular braiding hair would be SO much cheaper and honestly the result turned out a little better. Wow.. I've definately learned someting new today.. and soon i will be doing this style to myself..some time next week. You helped alot..I found exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!!

  • @missnikki08 Thanks for watching (((and SUBBING))) lol

  • Awesome work!

  • u did an awsome job ma'am :)

  • @Naula95 thx a bunch!!!

  • @dekia4111

The song is identity by Lecrae feat da truth and J. r.

    One of my favs

  • thank u so much for the advice....do u recommend gel, jam, or beeswax.....lol i ask alot of questions I know.

  • ok i can do them but mine never turn out perfectly even...sometimes the twist are not the same length or whatever...maybe a lil crook in one of them....how can i change that? do i need to do them slower? what can i do to make the twist more even as in each knot on the twist looks the same? by the way good video!!

  • @SierraE7 Good question! The key to keeping them "kink free" is making sure you keep a good amount of tension on each strand and when you twist each section, make sure your hands stay just underneath the last twisted section, rather than further down the hair shaft. Hopefully that made sense.. lol

  • so how do you stop the twist from coming a

    loose

  • @shantavah2 That's determined by two things... 1) Keeping a good amount of tension on the hair and 2) Making sure in the beginning you stretch the hair out and "fray" the ends to help seal them.

  • What song is this ? good job btw.

  • @dekia4111 Thanks, it's called "Identity" by Lecrae.. thx for watching!!

  • You Did A Good Job

  • How long does the natural hair have to be?

  • GREAT SONG SELECTION!!! You don't hear this type of music on YouTube videos too often.

  • so basicly KINKY TWIST

  • OMGOSH!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!! WHO IS THIS AND WHAT'S THE NAME OF IT???

  • @ladiibloo1411

It's called Identity by Lecrae. Cool huh? One of the best christian rap songs I've heard.

  • Lovely!

  • Is that Lecrae? Sounds like him. Great tutorial, you have to practice with it in order to grasp the concept.

  • the results are amazing!!!! bt go slower and explain yourself more easier as in step by step...bt thats hot!!!

  • I see that you rodded them at the end. Is there any way (if you wanted to) to straighten the twists back out so that they won't look messy?

  • Love the song and Hair :)

  • thank you very much! finaly somebody explained everything proparly!

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FOR THE CHRISTIAN HIPHOP!

  • Omg I love these! Can you use senthetic hair also can u rod it too?

  • I have a problem with roding the hair and making it look good, do you have any tips?

  • Pretty how long foes it take u and how many bags of fair was needed?

  • great video!!

  • LOVE the song! (Go girl!) The first time I did this style my hands were literally swollen for days afterwards! smh Its the whole twisting while twisting thing..murder! Am I twisting to tightly? Using too much strength? Thanx for the video. My niece is coming over to get her hair twisted and I was looking for some ideas (honestly to avoid having to this method lol)

  • love the music! GO JESUS! and how much yu paid for the hair?

  • I have an issue making the twists straight :( any advice? anyone?

  • Looooooooove this song girl!!!! :)

  • How is that Senegalese twist if your braiding first than twisting? I thought your supposed to twist from the root that's how I was taught to do them. They look nice tho :)

  • THANK YOU! Music was nice, a lil too much I would have liked it in the back ground of you talking, but VERY INFORMATIVE!

  • Can you braid the root then twist or twist from the root

  • @kreesha5252 you can braid or twist them from the root..its up to you..some people like it twisted from root to end and others prefer for it to start off as a braid

  • do u start off with a braid like kinky twist or twist the at the root

  • love the song and the braiding!!

  • love this.. thank you because I am trying thi on the first time and i needed to know how. How much hair do you recommend? she wants them long enough to put up in a ponytail?

  • loved that had you played Lecrae...awesome.

  • loved that had Lecrae...awesome.

  • hey what was the name of that song

  • how much did the hair cost?

  • Great tutorial and I love lecrae! Was so happy to hear Christian music and a good step by step video. Only steps missing are how to attach the weave and how to transition from the braid to the twist. The latter step is supposed to be easy but for some reason I haven't been able to do it without it unraveling in that small transition section. Thanks, MeTube 0047- Workin on my first twists....

  • i love lacrae

  • by for the clearest tutorial i've seen lol

  • nice...

  • I can never seem to get the fullness I ant in the twists no matter what kind I do. Can you share how you lay the hair to get fullness in the top and back so it doesn't all flop down on the sides and make a part in the middle? I have seen your nubian twists and they are gorgeous. Did you use Nubi Nubi hair or Nubian silk? Since you cut it in half, I'm thinking you used Nubi Nubi, but I can't tell.

    Thanks,

    Journi

  • I see you used protein gel on on your twist. Have you ever used Jam or Murry's wax? If so which one had a better outcome? I'm going to attempt to do mind over Thanksgiving break, so I need all the pointers I can get! =)

  • i think you did a really good job im going to try it on my daugters

  • whats this song?!!!

  • I was so suprised when that music came on. I was like... is she jamming Lecrae? Lol... great tutorial...

  • They came out so nice girl! I would've thought she went 2the shop! :)

  • that looks professional...good job!!!

  • I like this song

  • okay i commented on your kinky twist video but i also forgot to ask what would you recommened because i do not get perms and my hair is really thin but i want something different....which would you think is better? sen. or kinky?

  • Great job...would you say the technique is just like doing kinky twist, but with different hair?

  • You did A great job!...... I have 1 question, does the kanekelon hair look natural with your own hair?

  • gurl i loved how you showed every step and it is easy.. you did a good job..thank you this video helped alot..(jelisa)

  • I love that brand hair to girl. I did my daughter and my own, my cousin, and some lady daughter hair that i met in the grocery store LOL cutte

  • Would you reccommend the Senegalese Twist method to a child who has natural hair and it is shoulder length?

  • @glfds05 I would say yes only if the child's hair is strong enough to maintain individual braids and if they are slightly bigger and won't make the child look too old.. I say 8+ (the younger, the bigger the twists should be on them)

  • @UniQueLeeMade I'm a lil confused....do you have to use fake hair?....if a person has shoulder length or longer hair will this method work just with the naturl hair? I'm new to braids and such so please don't take offense to my lack of knowledege.

  • Hi I like thus video.. I was wondering how many packs of hair did you used?

  • @c2mz Hello there... I used 8 total! I split the hair in half to do the sides and back of the hair and at the very top, I left the hair it's regular length (to make them longer).. hope this helps!

  • @UniQueLeeMade yes it do... thank u

  • @UniQueLeeMade Hey..when you say you split the hair; yhu mean yhu cut it in half.?

  • very informative...I have been trying to find out how to do the ends so that would stay...I only twist with the kinky hair, now I can make more money...thank you so much for being there for the masters...Blessings for not keeping it to yourself!
