@SpartanW98 I worked on the Hubble Servicing Mission so I had passes through NASA. This is on the causeway, and they do sell tickets to the general public on a first come, first serve basis. Considering there are only 2 launches left right now, it will be nearly impossible to get tickets in this area. This area is actually on government property and links the air force base to the space center.
@SpartanW98 no I worked on a lot of the hardware that was installed on the telescope during the mission. I was down in Cape Canaveral for 6 weeks prior to the launch to work on the conditioning of the flight batteries before they were installed on the telescope. It was definitely quite the experience!
Great vid... & u got me in the shot too, lol. Starting at 1:35, I'm up front wearing a white shirt w/ blue jean shorts (next to the guy wearin the pink shirt), I also recorded the launch.
do you need special press access to go here? or can anybody just come and watch?
