  • Hey mate, thanks for uploading this. I remember watching it in 2004 and it's stayed with me ever since. Couldn't find it anywhere else. Thanks again.

  • trains daily for a minimum of 2 hours.. i wish i had her disciplin lol

  • you can say what you wan tbut these mass spectacles are awesome Oo i have never seen anything like it. really interesting and wierd at the same time if you think that something like this comes out of this evil dreadful commie terrorregime

  • "the largest choreographed spectacle in the world". I'd say that's the biggest understatement, yet true fact about North Korea.

  • North Korea is best Korea.

  • @NonPr0ph3t: Nope, both the Northern and the Southern governments of Korea are puppets of foreign powers – and at least the Southern one is to be suspected to be in touch with the insidious New World Odour nonsense, as it is loyal to the US of A (the one tool of the said New World Odour folly) – and therefore both have betrayed the Korean nation; and by doing so turned it once more into a vassal to China (the heir apparent of the North had recently to do homage to the rulers of China).

  • @FireEyedMaidOfWar All governments are puppets of larger governments to various degrees. Otherwise they can't survive as governments. Large foreign powers can easily levee overwhelming opposition if a government has no foreign backers at all. So small states are always forced to align themselves with larger states that will provide them with protection. It's same way we as individuals have to align ourselves a collective (the state) for protection otherwise it's a war of all against all (Hobbes)

  • @FireEyedMaidOfWar And anyway, I wasn't talking about the government, I was talking about the nation as a whole.

  • @NonPr0ph3t: That is a poor excuse since whole Korea will fall to China because of this incapable government, which did spark the bitter civil war of 1950; and the chances are pretty high that China will made an example of Southern Korea, so that the other American vassals will put themselves under the shroud of China, as the universal landlord: If the US of A fails to defend Korea against the Chinese onslaught (though China will open with its Northern puppet) or simply refuse defending it.

  • @FireEyedMaidOfWar Possibly.

  • @NonPr0ph3t: But you are aware that it only becomes the ancient Spartans to be that laconic in their answers?

  • ADMIT IT PEOPLE....NK is an awful place to live BUT....you must admit that schools in the u.s had the same discipline as these children have.....

  • Have to write an essay on this =(

  • @Danoftouni it should be easy....there is so much to write about NK...

  • Comment removed

  • Will you help in electing princess Nancy Pelosi as the new second in command after Kim Jong Un in the DPRK. She would make an excellent assistant dictator. Will you help by sending us money?

  • how is this akin to a propaganda film

  • Lol North Korea has the gayest march i've ever seen. Are they marching or are they broadway dancing?

  • People who are calling this film propaganda are not completely correct.. if it was propaganda it would not be showing how indoctrinated the people are. The way the camera lingers, or the inclusion of certain scenes and sentences is the director's way of showing the NK propaganda and indoctrination without commenting on it or preaching.

  • @Zalibaba the problem with it is that many people just are plain dumb, and unless someone tells them things they can't put together anything on their own.

  • i think north korea revealed only the good parts of the country. the apartments are remarkebly nice... still, incredibly interesting docu.

  • propaganda

  • this was amazing to know :) amazing docmentry

  • Do they have theme parks in North Korea? Just curious.

  • @dudecoolname Yes but only Kim jong il is allowed entrance

  • @dudecoolname Funily enough they do! Just youtube "north korea rollercoaster" :D

  • @dudecoolname there is a vid of a north korean rollercoaster on youtube...

  • @dudecoolname

    Yes

  • @dudecoolname They have amusement parks. Just Google "mangyongdae fun fair" to see one in the Pyongyang area

  • @dudecoolname ya they do

and they even nhave water parks XD

  • It's great to see and hear this kinda people struggle in a US dominated world....still, they will win in the end.

  • still busy with that: ............man as a machine... disgusting...

a state of the blind rather than that of a mind -

a violation of the human body and soul-

we should never turn a blind eye on that- but what can be done?

  • this leaves me speechless -

fishing for words I see an incredible neglect, even contempt of individuality, humanity and democracy

    Thank you for posting - it´s a must-see

  • we should be thankful that we weren't born in this fucked up, brain washing hell-liked country!

  • rong riv de grate reeder ken jang il an de grate peepers ho riv en de nurt korererer.

  • pls post in english so everybody can understand u, ty

  • That is english.

You fail to rcognize it as Korean English.

    In regulat english it reads:

Long libe the Great Leader Kim Jung Il and the great People who live in North Korea. I am bery surprised that more people don't speak, read and write the North Korean TV announcer emglish. It took me just a few mintutes of study to perfect it.

  • @koffiekpatcha did you forget to take your medicine?

  • @RaresCraciunas It is English but with what is supposed to be a Far Eastern accent.

  • @RaresCraciunas I hope you do realise he was making fun of koreans unable to speak english correctly. Anyway, tnx for the film!!

  • @RaresCraciunas > this isn't another language. he's being facetious. it says: "Long live the great leader Kim Jong Il and the great peoples who live in North Korea."

  • @RaresCraciunas

I don't think everyone has to speak english just for you...

  • @RaresCraciunas Do you expect everyone in the world to speak perfect English?

  • @RaresCraciunas ...it is in English, he's just joking around and writing it in a North Korean accent.

  • @koffiekpatcha ROFLMAO!!!!

  • Best documentary on NK I've ever seen

  • keep searching, theres some other cool ones like "crossing the line", and "the game of thier lives" :]

  • I agree... very interesting films... show the grim reality...

  • @pbear98 You've obviously not seen many documentaries on N Korea then. This is more akin to a propaganda film than a documentary.

  • @PrinceZappa @PrinceZappa Haven't watched it yet but that's what I figured. I felt it was probably to show people how wonderful N Korea is, when actually there is ALOT behind the scenes we don't get to see.

  • I love this documentary! :D
