I was there June of '06 when a guy nearly drowned from swimming behind Havasui falls. He was alive but unresponsive after bystanders pulled him from the water who had seen him, facedown, floating out from behind the falls. It took about 90 minutes for the chopper to arrive, it also landed on the same pad...

thats a pretty dangerous place to break a leg..i would have liked if you had stayed longer on the trecherous descent so people who have not climbed mooney would know how iffy it is.. that ladder at the end is pretty sketchy.. also people might find it interesting to note that the falls were named for the first white man down them, who died trying to desend.
