no way in hell a crocodile can,t even touch the lion on land, lion is way to fast,. The lion simply jumps 10 mtrs in any direction and the crocodile(designed for in the water)is lost him, i dont say the lion will kill him(possible)but believe me a water animal on land against a big cat, and big cats are the fastest on land with an flexible/powerfull body with one of the fastest reactions/reflexes in the world. Check tiger kills croc(exemple big cat vs croc). But croc in water will symply win.
