Acabo de llegar de Bahía Principe y en verdad la estancia ha sido flojísima, nula calidad tanto en el servicio como en la comida. La animación en la piscina y en general en el complejo es de lo peorcito que se puede encontrar. Es un sitio para gente poco exigente, recomendable para excursiones de jubilados o de final de curso, o para chicas en busca de sexo con dominicanos.

Thanks for the post. I was there last spring, I bought the CD, I love the song...for sure its one of the best spots I have ever been to. I plan to go there again this fall or winter. @joane138 Hi Laura, I will be there on 8/20 til the 29th...my first time at this resort but my parents have been coming here for the last 4 years....they told me to bring a few bucks for tips, laundry services, and gambling if we're going to do that...and a CC for emergencies...it truly is all-inclusive

Recently I was there for 1 week wit my all family (5), it is excelent, great, nothing to improve. About the "social" comment, I absolutly agree this is a good place for work, all workers look fine, in other places is easy to guess when there are not working fine. On the other side, just compare RD with Haiti wich are in the island, not necessary to add comparative comments.

it really i all inclusive. This hotel has several sections and only one of the sections (Ambar is 18+). The only thing you have to pay for is high end shots/drinks, that do not use the dominican domestic alcohol, i highly reccomend it to anybody looking for a great time

Those workers that work in those sites like in construction are from Haiti. They go to the Dominican republic to work in those condition because in Haiti are no jobs . They rather work in those conditions that to stay in they own land starving and have nothing at all. At Least in the DR they get a little bit of money and food to send to they own family in haiti.

this resort suux i wouldn go back the food is not that good and its tooo big you cant walk anywhere you have to go on those cheap old cars not much to do either just beach and pool

there good but i found out and investigated tht they dont give food to the workers and all the left over food that people didnt eat they through it away instead of giving it to the employees . also the employees spend months with out seeing there kids and families and they dont care . just imagine it was you . watching people eat all that food and you cant even have a bit after everyone leaves hungry all day and standing .

yes, good they have jobs but bad they're treated like slaves by their own country..my son took a stack of American dollars and they all think he's the greatest thing going because he's giving it to the employees right and left..and it's TRUE they probably throw out more food than they give away..that's a common practise at every resort going..

@PIMO999 We were there 5 years ago, we made friends with a few employees. They all went home after there work day. I worked in a restaurant in Canada, Montreal to be more specific, if you wanted to eat, you had to pay. We all packed our lunches. That's what they do too...

yes, but because of the poverty they are basically slave labor..12 days on and 4 off?..that's terrible!..gotta choose between family and food..my son is there now..just talked to him and he is almost sick over the poverty..he says he will never go back and that there's nothing to do that doesn't cost above and beyond the 3 grand he spent for all inclusive..so you give people a look at a possible vacation spot..but you have to let them tell how they feel about it..it cant all be good always..

bullshit, I work for a large food maker/distributor in the DR and many of my clients are hotels in the eastern DR, and deal face to face with workers there. Of 12 hotels I serve, all feed their employees during their shifts and MOST are locals, meaning their families reside in the area. Some employees, of course are from other more remote parts of the country and in order to retain them get food/board, and yes a few told me it's weeks and weeks before they see their relatives.
