I just have the unfortunate distinction of having been born to a retired navyman...and raised in a military town. And for the record, my dad thought it was hilarious. He thought she deserved it too.

I really hate military wives that hide behind their husband's rank. It bothers me to no end. I once b*tchslapped an officer's wife. did I care her hubby was an officer? not a bit. In fact, I think I slapped her twice as hard for throwing it in my face. I enjoy being a girl in a military town, for the simple fact that I get the opportunity to put women like that in their place from time to time. Makes life here almost bearable!
