@DavidCastoe Noel loves to over-produce his albums, its his thing. Be Here Now was one of the most over-produced rock albums ever. Apparently Owen Morris has to remove many of the effects Noel added to Definitely Maybe.

Having said that, Noel's album is still pretty good IMO, especially when he does it live. So is Beady Eye's. I prefer both to Dig Out Your Soul or Standing on the Shoulders of Giants. And I prefer both to most of the music that dominates the charts today.
