I agree. Its like prohabition in the 1930's when they were running their products to get the best one they had to make it stronger. It was no longer Ale or beer, it was whisky and moonshine. But with Mj you can't really make it "super strong" or addicting. So i bet one of the local cartels is tampering with the buds after picking so he has more customers come back. Just a random theory.

Pot grown hydroponically now is the same as the hydro grown now. You folks running your mouths about pot being stronger today do not know what you are talking about. I remember the Colombian Gold and Red, and the Maui Wowee that we used to get back in the 80's...that stuff would blow your head off. I have to smoke a joint the size of cigarette to get a buzz from most weed now.

no I'm aware of that. It's just that a few years ago, regs were prevalent in my area, you could get good kind but it wasn't readily available. You had to seek it out and get a good connection, or go to a nearby city. Now, the commercial weed is hydro, red hairs, no seeds yellow keef. Regs are harder to come by, you have to go to a nearby city to get it. It's not that you didn'tt have good hydro back then, you just didn't have as much of it. I could be way off base though.

Not all of us potheads are lucky enough to live near where good shit is grown. And since I live right underneath an Army helicopter flight path(tons of them fly over my house everyday), it's not a real good idea for me to try to grow my own. A guy two houses down from me got busted growing two plants in his back yard...the Army spotted them for the cops...that's the way it works around here...growing it inside isnt safe either.

Sono, keep in mind that motrin (the anti inflammatory pain reliever in Advil) used to be available via prescription only. This seems to be a way to introduce a drug and prepare for it's release without a prescription. Medical marijuana is a stepping stone. At this point, any step toward legalization would be good for the US economy.

yep - exactly right. The same goes for most recreational drugs. Use them responsibly and in the correct context and you should be fine.
The only things I would say stear clear of are crack, heroine and methamphetamine - they are so addictive they have no recreational value.

Mike Huckabee is an idiot. I know a neurosurgeon who smokes weed on the weekends but manages to be respected in his field. Marijuana smokers come from every socio-economic, racial, religious and political background and occupy varying positions in society. The difference is that at present, pothead doctors and lawyers cannot reveal that information about themselves without compromising their careers.

I'm sure theres plenty more. It basicly is an unlimited source of energy and products that recycles faster than corn. Plus we wouldn't be burning our food source. Theres simply not enough NEGATIVE effects from it to keep it criminal. And in AMERICA... Things like this should be up to a free adult's disgression to do. It's NOT going to be easier for kids to get it. Believe me, it's perfectly simple to get it NOW. With no dealers on the street it'd actually get harder to obtain by minors.
