  • Mordeth, thats exactly what happened to me. I had an operation about 4 months ago for a medical issue i've had all my life and my insurance company, which is supposed to be the best insurance company to have a plan with, denied the claim saying "its an out of state insurance plan so they cant cover me." I never went out of state for anything!! The bill was like $3000 and im still trying to sort it out. This country is so corrupt i swear.

  • that's outrageous. i feel so lucky to be in the uk

  • gangsta american business right there. there is no way his medical bill should cost so much i bet you coud cut it by a third and they could still profit theyr just fucking greedy and im sure what the insurance company did is ilegal and if its not it should be........

  • being a student from Canada. I'm glad that we do have universal health care .. last year while cycling to work .. some fucking clown made a blind turn . . cutting me off . . smashing me into the pavement . . and pinning me under my bike with snapped tendons in my left knee. . . i thank the fucking powers that be that i didn't have to fork out any cost for my hospital stay, xrays, mri, and corrective surgery. . . i'd have been ruined; wouldn't be in school now.. .and bankrupted. . @ age 20

  • I am a american living in Maryland right now and me personally I fucking hate the piece of shit cops around here with the occasional accept-ion i live in Montgomery county and the cops will do nothing but sit on their ass and eat donuts while running speed traps this doesn't surprise me that this happened if there's anything i can do to help let me know like if he knew the licence plate code.

  • the problem isnt that the companies are american it's that they're greedy honestly if he got a better insurance company that probobly would'nt have happened (no offence to him) and if those things really happened he could have got a private investigator and found out who hit him and sue them and the insurance company for taking his money then canceling his insurance without his notice

  • WHAT insure healthy people? I have a heart aneurysm and i have health insurance... in the last year i just had 30000 operation... if your unhealthy, then your insurance premium is way higher.

  • I live in Ontario and I'm not really sure about if it's just private or government but the insurance company has always been very helpful or my family as our accord seems to get rear ended at red lights quite frequently for some reason?

  • Maybe this comment isn't helpful, but to let off steam from my boiling blood: I know we are blessed to be in this country, but I hate (h-a-t-e) many things about this country. Fuck you United States of America--- from a not so proud US citizen.

  • Consumer sovereignty is dead in America. Oligarchs' worship the dollar and would crucify and condemn just about anyone to secure it. Though this is a fairly old video I am still stunned and enraged by your friends unfortunate story but not surprised. More instances such as this are still rife in America as business will always remain business.

Greetings from your faithful supporter in London!!!

  • There is some messed up shit going on in my country...

  • their isnt a whole lot of money in health care industry but i think their shouldnt be a 2000 page bill with out anyone reading it and voting on it. the fucking maryland cops allways get you from speeding but cant find a car thats sick

  • we dont have free healthcare because we are a bunch of capitalist bastards

  • insurance here in toronto, ON is also bullshit. my dad's coworker just got un-insured recently due to slightly excess speeding tickets....

  • That's why everyone is so pissed off in the states I live in British Columbia and go down to Washington state quite often and the peoples attitudes is like night and day.

  • Dude where is your camera?

  • Vehicle insurance would not do that. If they cashed the check (which they did, by auto draft) they would not cancel his insurance. For a vehicle insurance company to cancel coverage it needs to do so in writting by mail and a certain amount of weeks notice.

  • Ah man! Maryland! I used to live in Baltimore, Maryland. Fuck that place, I was in the car with my mother, and we got rear-ended with my 7 year old sis in the backseat after a car in front of us slammed on the breaks and made an illegal U-Turn, we stopped in time and didn't hit him, but the people behind us, slammed right into us. A cop came by, said "Is anyone hurt?" and we said, "Were not sure", then he drove off without filing a report or anything. I NEVER met a good cop there.

  • I only really have experience with the police in Los Angeles, so I can't speak for the rest of the country, but I have never met a cop that has treated me with respect. How the hell did we come to a place where the citizenry feels obligated to call a police officer "sir"? It's supposed to be the other way around. Power corrupts absolutely, power absolutely corrupts, however you wanna look at it... don't even get me started with the horrendous bullshit that is the American insurance industry.

  • @zaarin230x Well i got pulled over for something couple of days ago and the cop that did that(who was a female) threatened to take me downtown because i refused to say sir to her(well the female version of sir but i'm not english =)

  • THE US GOVERNMENT IS THE BIGGEST CRIMINAL OUT THERE!

  • cop doesn't do detective work - CSI does. that's probably why the cop told the person to put the debris with the other broken parts.

  • @euphoriaforever u got it the other way round. contrary to tv shows, in reality cops usually have a pretty good idea who the criminal is but just needs the solid evidence from csi to get em, basically they know who did it just need csi to prove it.

  • I got hit and runned too, but I got the plate numbers. Still took the police and courts almost a year to figure it all out. It didn't help that the driver denied the accident contrary to all the physical evidence. It all left me feeling like I would've got more satisfaction from just bashing the car with a tire iron.

  • Stupid US! You even have to pay for school in there! All free where im from.

  • yeah i dont have health insurance. US is a joke.

  • seriously effed up insurance policies in america... that's mafia tactics... all your life you pay protection money and when you actually need protection, they'll say "no"

  • it makes me sick, I can't believe that a country can be so driven by profits as to screw someone over so much. Meanwhile the police (who seem to spend most of their time issuing tickets) do nothing to find the bastard who has written off the guys future. I mean I am worried about a student loan (like £20000?) by the time I take my course, graduate, (hopefully) start earning and pay most of it off, this guy will probably not be halfway through, on top of everything else there is to deal with.

  • US police do suck!

  • Fuck pigs and all the fucking huge corporations.

  • Thats shocking mate, not only did the health service screw him, his F**kin insurance company screw him too. Wankers the lot of them. Hope he's on the mend.

  • Depending on where he was, the cops probably didn't help the guy out in investigation because the *police* would legally have to be there to witness the hit and run in order to pursue the person who hit him. I've heard of 3 hit and run situations (none fatal) near me and am friends with a City Policeman, and every time a hit and run situ comes up the cop gets irritated because noone can pursue because a cop didn't witness. Lamesauce, but true.

  • @elysse1011 That's bullshit. A cop doesn't need to "witness" something before he can press charges or pursue someone. It just takes a little detective work most of the time.

  • @13mordeth It IS bullshit, but stuff like that is rarely based on common sense. More likely someone, SOMEWHERE, made some claim that a person hit and ran and it wasn't that person and that person made a stink.... and then local/state lawmakers went all reactionary about it. Bullshit and, sadly, how stupid laws come to pass (see also: not being able to carry an ice cream cone in your pocket. Yes, that's a law where I am.)

  • yeah? what kinda motorcycle you ride?

  • @sk8ererpunk5000 Sigh....dumb people and the internet like bread and butter. Listen....punk......I've been riding motorcycle's for the last 14 years. I own motorcycles AND scooters, ok?

  • @13mordeth I sense trolling. You shouldn't listen to guy. Just let them be ignorant ;D

  • @13mordeth lol well same thing with people hating on america.. Agreed that we have our issues, but damn. Ride safe

    .....Real bikes of course :P

  • @sk8ererpunk5000 this guy is probably about 14yo with a user name like sk8rF4g

  • @retrom Got me good, ouch.. Don't know if ill recover from that one, alright there Restroom? lol

  • @sk8ererpunk5000 if you cared to watch the first 20 freaking seconds of the video, he said he had a ninja, "as in motorcyle".....

  • Actually, health care is not free in all 1st world countries. In the UK the health care isnt free unless your under 18 otherwise you pay for your health care through taxes... and the taxes pay for the health care for the under 18's anyway. So it is actually incorrect saying that health care is free because it just isnt lol.

  • @Matty6660 Well of course its paid for through taxes lol...no one is debating that. It's free in the sense that you walk in, get treatment , and pay nothing out of pocket. But if you want to try to sound smart and point out the obvious, go ahead.

  • @Aggiesgigem No I'm not trying to sound smart I'm just annoed of people who keep saying the NHS is free because it is just not. National insurance is a heafty sum of money to just say, "oh yeah I pay it so my health care is free." At the end of the day, your paying a lot of money into the NHS through taxes so it is nowhere near the 'free' or 'cheap' mark at all.

  • @Matty6660 True, but it's not where near the price the guy mentioned in the video has to pay. I would gladly up my taxes a small amount so shit like this does not happen to hard working Americans.

  • I'm sure there are lots of lawyers that would be interested in taking the case, so let the lawsuits fly.

  • well it not intirely free in europe and asia and such (can't spell i know)

but i feel for the Americans i have some family living there and they told me how it sucks sometimes and what you said m13 if you have a ilness ore decease youre ensurense is Very expensive ore you wont get covert thats not fair at al for nobody !

    Respect from Holland

  • hey can i have your msn?

  • my heart goes out to this man and his problems, but i couldn't help but wonder through the whole video how you can possibly see anything you're driving into! there are shots where it's clear a head-light IS turned on, but holy shit you're driving through the black abyss at times.

  • USA doesn't have the money for health care, they need it to drive wars.

  • OMFG i recogonize this road... i feel like i know the streets of tapae maybe because the past few days i literally watched pretty much all your videos on youtube and livevideo! thanks mordeth.. if i ever visit that city i know how to get around..lol

  • my heart does go out to all those familes that have to deal with those kind of situations. i would not want to think about living without any health care. def not after what i had to go through with my son. p.s he is all cured now :) sorry amercians.. i really havent been following whats going on in the news with your health care system as of late... i only wish that what ever happens it helps you guys out more than what its doing right now

  • honestly.. i am very very thankful im in Canada!!! after the 2 months hospital stays.. countless EEG scans and all the sezuire tests and medication for my new born son.. i would have been in dept close to 300-500k right now if i were living in USA. i know this because the support forums i was on for his condition.. many americans were complaining thats what they were going to eventually have to pay back. and being that i started my own business... i def would not of had health insurance in usa

  • im 16 about to get my license is a scooter a good transportation i usually skate would it be good like to go the the park n stuff ive always thinked bikes are easy to steal right now im seeing a scooter at 500 bucks should i go with it or get a car?

  • your young, stick with a car

  • ok thanks :D

  • I hate it when americans say that "US is the best country ever" because its not true at all.. American goverment sucks ass! if you ask someone of what they think about the US goverment, They will NEVER say that they like it. I'm from Europe and there's almost nothing wrong here including the non-asshole insurances. I'm not saying that american people suck because i actually like americans but the politics and insuraces bla bla.. suck hard horse HENIS!

  • Same with my dad. He has Diabetes. Right now he has insurance with the bank he works for. I don't know what we will do if we somehow lost that insurance. We would either go into debt or have no insurance.

  • I like how the USA was rather critical of the British NHS system - including going as far as to say it was useless and wouldn't have saved people like Stephen Hawking...Who owes his life to the NHs, by his own admission.

  • all insurance company's and loan company's in us are fucking scams. all they do is try to make as much money off you as possible. credit cards company's too.

  • fuck me.. makes you bloody scared of the us.. sure as hell happy that i'm in aus..

  • jesus christ... what the auto insurance company did was so fucked up.

  • insurance = mafia legal extorsion credit card = loanshark

  • my life insurance and health insurance costs almost 3 times more than usual cuz im a smoker =/

  • scooters suck and are for transpo only

  • I agree with your rant here about the yank system. I got nothing against yanks I acctually know quite a few of them and they are bad ass. But their systems sure sucks dick. It's really made in favor of the very wealthy. All others are fucked. And look at how much money they put on stuff like the army? Sure it's useful as hell and they are at war and I support them having an army. But come on.. that's ridiciulus amounts of money that could help their citizens insted..

  • yea r 1 major flaw , health insurance<--- evil!!!

  • r u english then ?/?? coz u sound american

  • you're dumb

  • He's Canadian.

  • made me feel better bout my shitty day! lol

  • dude aboute the health insurance i live in canada too and i have diabetia (i dont know how to spell it so sorry for that XD) but i live in quebec and everyone has health insurance but if i die im not really worth something -_-' thats the only thing that sucks

  • I'm pretty sure a lot of American cops find their badges in cereal boxes, along with "US law for dummies" book.

  • The insurace on my 2007 Honda Cixic was 800 in the Yukon full converage and 2500 Cdn in BC. BC has government insurance and the Yukon was private through Meloche Monex.

  • us police do suck

  • they took his money, then when he had an accident they gave it back and cancelled his policy so they didnt have to pay out. Thats outrageous!!! nothing but crooks! My sympathy for this guy, hes got some shitty luck.

  • "Piece of shit American cops" eh? Not all American cops are bad, but I agree there are a lot of bad ones. As for the insurance part, what the hell companies is your friend trying to buy insurance from and where does he live? My dad has diabetes, has been in a motorcycle accident that took his leg, has been in and out of hospitals for over 20 years, and has had numerous major surgeries, and he is perfectly insured and we dont have any problems paying. Why did you get so political all of a sudden?

  • Ya alot of cops here in America are really bad one time a cop turned on his sirens like he was going to pull a guy over but really the cop only did that to get by him

  • this reminds me of a story i had seen on the news a while back where a lady married her canadian friend so that she could obtain free health care in canada and that insurance companies actually give bonuses to their workers for turning ppl away from them....so much bs over here.

  • Gowd Bless our NHS Governor! Greetings From the UK! : D

  • he should get on the news with this sorta thing, thats what would be best to do in my country anyways

but when theres problems that affect a 100 people it will allways overshadow a huge problem 1 person has, swine flu anyone?

  • well some countries barely get food or clean water becuase of the choke hold your country has on them and billionaire dont dent their situation

  • is there an update for this story?

  • I understand why they stinks, only insurance, super humans with now healthproblems, it stinks !

  • scum ... ay . good thing it aint as bad as that in britain

  • True, the U.S government is really fat, bloated and pisses me off on a regular basis

  • I would say Crooks

  • In BC its done by ICBC and its regulated by the Canadian government. There (Is) a profit margin but its not huge. And you can only get insurance in bc from ICBC. Great vids been watching for a while.

  • damn

  • Is health care free in Taiwan? :0

  • Doctors AND dentists are free.....yep.

  • I live in America and no health insurance. Too damned expensive. I can't believe that guys insurance screwed him like that. I feel bad for him as I was in the hospital for only 8 hour without much done and was charged over $35,000 so his bill must be insane

  • Wow that place must be great, yes? Landscape is beautiful, health care free, and a shitload of motorcycles! Iceland isn't much of a fairytale although it's fun for motocross.

  • @13mordeth Even for non-citizens?

  • @13mordeth i just think its funny how dentists are free yet asian ppl have such bad teeth haha

  • @Iwowa No, There is no such thing as "Free" health care. If it's free then how do doctors make a living? Someone is paying for it. In most countries with socialized medicine the tax payers and/or the government pays for it and can almost never sustain it. Taiwan is nearing a crossroad right now as to whether or not they can continue to provide "free" health care.

  • good point mate, you should watch sicko by michael moore if you havent already, its about U.S. health care, its preety interesting, anyway keep up the good work on the vids mate.

  • Comment removed

  • your videos are sick as fuck

  • how many bikes you have dude i like your vids

  • Most police are good but there are some corrupt ones my cousin is a cop and these guys were going to plant drugs on this one guy because he was from some other country and he said no and told the police chief and got them fired and healthcare varies from state to state along with insurance luckily my state has coverage for just about anything along with almost every other one. Just throwing out there but my cousins live in Denmark and they are happy with theirs but I'm happy with mine it varies.

  • reasons like this is why i dont want to live in the usa again. crap like this makes me sick to my stomach. The only reason im going back when i get out of the army is to get a degree, and then im thinking of moving somewhere where i can ride year around and crap like this doesnt happen.

  • Auto insurance companies buy radar guns for police departments, so that the police may ticket the customers of the insurance company, therefor enabling the insurance company to raise their rates! Such BS! I have NO idea why we(the customers) just stand by and watch this happen. The insurance companies say they buy the radar guns to "promote safety"...right, and profit immensely at the same time.

  • That's amazing. Your government is poor. They owe more money than any other government on the planet. All they need to do is make national health insurance at a set rate....and national auto insurance. Then they'd have tons of money and the rates would be a fraction of what they are now.

  • omg i know! Our government is SO retarded SO often when it comes to most decisions. As I am writing this mordeth, our national debt is about $11,159,186,677,776.62! We go about 3.87 BILLION more dollars into debt every 24 hours. If our debt were to be divided among each US citizen, we would each owe close to $40k! lol what was canada like? I might just move there. ha.

    peace

  • i'm american, and i hate the stereotype that we're better than everyone else,or that we think we're better than everyone else. i think america has more problems than most countries in the world.

  • ther are americans that i like but alot of em i dont and the ons i dont (bush) i really fuckin hate

i dont like how there better then everybody else

  • You could always join a scooter club...

  • Here in the UK we have the NHS - National Health Service. On our earnings we pay Tax and National Health. Everyone who needs it gets healthcare. I see Mordeths point, redirect the money and let everyone get the help they need. Over here, you can choose to have private health care like BUPA, for a monthly fee. I like my holidays (vacations) in the US, but I certainly wouldn't live there.

  • i agree 100%! the police here in america (especially in small towns like the one i live in) are fuckin pigs.

and the insurance here is ridiculously overpriced. the goverment forces you to buy it to be able to drive and because almost everyone (quite litterally) needs to drive in order to make money and not starve to death they have to shit insane amounts of money. and when you have the smallest accident or a hair falls off your ass your rate nearly doubles. corporate america is killing us.

  • Only one more thing!, I do feel though that the new America that will develop as the Caucasian majority becomes the Caucasian minority, will help America develop to be a more interesting and Dynamic nation(nothing against Caucasians, my parents are Caucasian, and also my friends are as well) Also, I just want to mention that relatively few of my friends feel the desire to travel outside of America because of the inwardly way many were raised by their uneducated parents.

  • But doesn't really matter because although I view America as my home, I am first a Human Being and Earth is my home. I've been studying Japanese and soon will begin Chinese for my upcoming study tour of Asia that will hopefully, If all goes well, include a trip to Taiwan to ride with Mr. 13. One more thing about the generation of America that immigrated a long time ago, they tend to dislike foreign ways of doing things and will likely not adopt a new practice even if it is beneficial.

  • Im actually originally from Brazil, adopted at around almost 10 years old, from a crude background in a poor area of Sao Paulo, Brazil. and I've been quite taken with the opportunities here and I am a patriot more than most Americans in the sense that I take absolute responsibility in being critical of the govt where we rightfully should be. Some people have shunned me for my critical stance, a patriot makes his country what he wants it to be, a fool supports his govt without criticism

  • Another reminder to as why the fuck am I still here in the US ?! I should have moved to Japan, Canada, or Singapore long time ago ... while the rest of the world is making progress, we are rotting in self-entertainment of lies ...

  • just so you know mordeth in B.C. you have to buy your insurance through ICBC. which sucks.

  • Basically health insurance is, essentially, only available to the people who have a high probability of not needing it. Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? But that's politics.

  • Even with all our problems(and they are numerous....extremely numerous), still no country I'd rather defend...

  • Thanks for sharing Mordeth. As an American, I appreciate the solidarity. It's not just healthcare and corruption, either; education, housing, and arts are also neglected. Our schools are falling apart, literally in some cases, but hey, at least we have enough Apache helicopters, bunker-buster missiles, F-14's, bomber drones, depleted uranium hollow point bullets, land mines, white phosphorous, and cruise missiles to kill everybody wearing a turban... we could do so much good, but we don't...

  • You should watch the movie SICKO, it talks all about the U.S. healthcare system and basically how messed up it is. My brother-in-laws brother also rode a motorcycle but one day was hit my a motorhome (it was hit and run also). The police did nothing and now he cant remember anything from the past 13 years almost, is mentally challenged, cant use his left arm anymore, and moved back to his home country because it was to expensive to live here. his hospital bill was a little about $300,000.

  • I've seen that, and I saw that even in South America the medicine was cheaper and easier to get. x3 I don't watch Michael Moore's stuff often though. :3

  • nice

  • $2 trillion industry in the us no joke

  • Yeah, American police are pretty much worthless. I have never once heard of a time where they've actually helped somebody. All they ever do is hassle people. And it's true, the way our insurance is setup is so unfair. It's all about maximizing profits.

  • free health care has never worked except in canada and swiss.

  • And Taiwan, and France and....Why don't you think it works in other places? France for example.

  • a lot of people are not willing to pay more taxes so that other people can use it. Because all the hard working people who make money will end up paying for the people on wellfare who get sick.

  • At present the insurance companies steal billions and billions from the American people...all you need to do is redirect that same money and it will be enough to provide healthcare for everyone.

  • And:

Norway, Denmark (best healtcare in the world), Sweden, England (?), Germany, Portugal, Spain.

That's the places I know about, but I bet there is more.

Free helthcare is superb. Everyone I has discussed it with (that don't have it where they live) is stunned to hear how well it works, and how fantastic it is.

  • its basicly not free.. they pay what it costs in the taxes

  • Better than paying with taxes, AND shelling out money at the counter or at the hospital on top of taxes.

  • Iceland, free healthcare too.

  • And:

Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Spain, Portugal - could someone contionue from here? That's the places I know about, but I bet there is more......

Free healthcare is superb! All the americans I have discussed it with are stunned to hear how it works..

  • the police are horrible in the us, they never care

  • lol, i hate our government, but i like the fact that if you go faster than 120 mph, the cops are required to stop chasing you....i thought you were american till i knoticed all the symbols, you speak good english....but on the subject of motorcycle accedents, a car pulled out in front of my uncle and my uncle got in trouble....my uncle was going 60 in a 55...and my uncle was the one who got in trouble, it was bull shit....

  • Are you sure about the 120 mph rule? I've never heard of the police here give up on a chase. I'm pretty sure they just send the whole department and choppers after you.

  • yeah, well, in my area....there is realy no police choppers... at one point i kno they were talking about not even chasing people on crotch rockets...

  • wow that really stinks. I was born with diabetes and when I get out of school I'm gonna have to get my own health care and I dread that day.

  • Well that's the point. You wont' be able to. I suggest once you finish uni....you leave. Don't forget if you work overseas for more than 6 years....your debt expires. So wrack up some bills...then leave.

  • Debt expires in 6 years in Canada but not in the USA. You can't claim bankruptcy on educational loans in the US. Sure you can claim bankruptcy and start over but that's not the most intelligent or socially responsible thing to do.

  • That is one reason why I completely rule out working in the US, I lived in Cyprus, all over the middle east ( Qatar, UAE, Oman) and they all give free healthcare. I can't afford the chance of having something go wrong with me in the US. Especiially after watching SiCKO. I would consider going to Canada- but not the US. Only in the US would an insurance company be allowed to get away with doing something like that.

Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against Americans, just some of their views

  • you tell the truth bro. i hear stories like that all the time. its hella messed up.

  • Health insurance is too expensive for most families I think. If you make $35,000 USD or less a year, then you're probably using all that money for your bills/rent/mortgages.

There is a bright side - if you're in the lower income bracket, charity will cover thousands of dollars in hospital bills. Children are also given some hospital care (ie. paid-for ER trips, not health stuff for infants).

I want to move to Canada in the future...

  • OMG il never go to live in usa, I'v past my test 3 days ago and no way im riding in us.

  • oooh man that sucks badly. we in holland must have health insurance and have to pay at least 85 EURO per month. i pay like 105 EURO a month thats like 1260 euro a year and i never got sick or anything wel as they say beter save than sorry

  • Sadly, the cops threw the parts in the ditch because (and I'm not even making excuses) hit-and-run has become so prevalent in the States that they barely investigate it. I'm serious -- In LA, people only call the police to report it because their insurance company requires a document. It's unreal how often people run now.

Personally, I think people who run from accidents should be beaten. Or maimed.

  • this is totally true, police in america are lazy, AND there are alot of fAT pigs of cops... and the insurance is just... rediculious... sometimes im not very proud to be an american

  • thats just awfull man

  • I would sue the insurance company for not giving me a notice of my canceled insurance. The cop was a dick and I would have filed a complaint. 20!!

  • Taxes would go way up. Health care for 300+ million people would make what we're wasting in Iraq look like spare change. I'm a veteran so I'm no stranger to government-run VA hospitals. They are nothing compared to the expensive private ones. A government-run health care system would be cutting a lot of corners to save money.

  • Yea, healthcare in america is baloney. And dont get me started on the law system in America...horseshit is what it is.

  • I have health insurance. I can afford it. However, I don't trust it. I don't know if when I need to use it for something serious, they will help me. Sure, the copay for small medical visits is nice, but I don't know if I can trust it when I really need it.

American private health care is a racket.

  • my brother has chrones desies and because he has it i cant get life insurence even here in Canada

  • The motorcycle insurance would be an easy win in court. I hope he had medical coverage on his motorcycle insurance.

I've got to say, the whole story sounds suspect. You say you like Americans yet you throw out stupid generalizations like they are going out of style. These are minority incidents.

If he was having trouble paying for medical coverage in the first place, he should have sold the bike. Too many people would rather blow their cash on plasma TV's than spend it on health insurance.

  • The bike insurance story just WOW.....

Yea we have bad health care here

Man then Maryland cops are kinda lame.

  • You are right regarding health-care Mor, That's why I voted for Obama. Now maybe we can get this going in the right direction.

  • Dude, you are so on the spot with the healthcare thing! I'm American and I take no offense..to any of your criticisms. Part of liking your country is wanting to fix the bad parts right? It sucks to hear about your buddy, i hope he can figure everything out and get better!

  • You are correct on the health care thing, if you have health insurance and get really sick you wind up a bankrupt insured person. The insurance companies stack the deck. Its insane.

    Frank

  • I too am diabetic, and this kinda scares me. As a future motorcyclist I really hope I don't have to go through what this individual has to :( Really bites that the police who should be the good guys actually did what they did.

  • American police are useless. I've lived in America all my life, and the police have never helped. My R6 got hit out in front of my house TWICE, both times hit and runs. I could identify the car and the first 4 #'s on the license plate, and the police did nothing. I got stuck with a $1600 bill to fix the bike when the cops coulda found this guy in maybe 10 minutes if they wanted. Then the cops wonder why they have such a bad rep.

  • hell no thats bullshit all of it fukin pigs man

  • Did not realize this happened a few minutes from my house.

  • Recognize my name?

  • dude, american government cant find money for healthcare for its citizens because they are too busy waging war on the next new enemy of the year. Money is spent killing people and fighting everyone to be "free" rather than helping its own (who fund this country mind you). We arent allowed to our own contributions....so we just send it all to the middle east so the few elite republicans can get rich here in the states...off of war.

  • srry to go off topic and i agree with u 100% but i was wondering what ur steam account was

  • I have an R6, skate, snowboard etc. Luckily havnt broken any bones and have a clean driving record (never dropped a bike either).

I'd say I'm lucky. Or just very careful, because I have no health insurance.. at all.

  • wow I never knew this kind of shit happened to people

  • I hate people.

If i could donate enough to help him in any way. I would. Damn this really sucks.

Why would someone do that to someone else? And then the police and insurance do that too? God it just drives my mind insane.

  • I have medical problems too, it's really hard to get insured. Sometimes I hate being an American.
