It is a good camera. After a while it became a battery hog and the hatch eventually broke for the battery compartment, but the quality and features is amazing.

why buy a camera to just take pictures when you can buy camera, camcorder, mp3, mp4 player, webcam, digital voice recorder and flash drive all in one!!? great for youtube for easy uploads as well

darlinggg2 im not sure whats wrong with your camera i just tried filming and when i play back there is no noise in the back round

if your taking pics the AA last for a long time. if your filming with the batteries for a while but not a huge amount of time. my suggestion is to buy rechargeable batteries with a charger included. i have the Duracell 15min rechargeable batteries their great. the pack i bought came with 4 so i always have a set in my camera and a set on the charger.

im seriously considering this camera but i was reluctant when i found out it takes AA batteries. how do you like that aspect of it vs. a lithium ion battery, how long do the AA last?

This is a great camera, using Eveready Energizer lithium batteries will dramatically increase shooting time.

With a 2GB sd card you can save almost 600 pictures or about 17 minutes video, all at max. resolution.

I'm no mathematician, but seeing as though 2GB is half of 4GB, I think 600 pictures will double to 1200.
