gr8 documentary. excellent work. I found the way you summed up the conclusions and what should be done really nice. you definately got the message through!
I have to say I loved this. I think you have a gift for the piquant sense Irony that goes so well in documentaries. (at least the ones Ive liked lol) I think a great response to people who use hate speach would be to make them enter into a debate to attempt to defend their resoning for using that speach at that time in that situation. they should face a mixed panel made up of representatives of minorities majorities and logicians.
It's interesting that the student thought slavery "civilized" the Africans.. I remember learning that Africa had amazing societies and monarchies and that they were an intensely rich people in general..
Anyway, this is a gread documentary. Beautifully done, and I think it should be more widely seen.
Great job =) The end made me kind of sad though...the pouring of the water didn't stop the flame, and the erasing didn't truly get rid of it. Its an unfortunate truth that no matter what we do besides mind control, there are always going to be closeminded, ignorant people out there.
Awesome! I may be biased cause I love documentarys but this was very well done. Points flowed well together. I can tell you put alot of thought into the editing. Great Job dude. You've got a new fan!
Jorge De La Vega made a painting - if you can call it that; it's more an assemblage - of a grotesque cat peering into a distorted mirror, which reflects a different yet equally disturbing image. The point being that things need to change, no matter how you look at it. My stop motion "blip" is an homage to the cat and to the idea at which he was driving.

I love the way you illustrated how context is so important when interpretating the intention of spoken words with what Elyssa says.

I really dig this documentary and everything it had to say.
But I still don't get the stop motion thing. I even looked up de la vega and only found sites in spanish. Can you explain?
