Yeah, I just found those lyrics. I searched high and low at first for them when I made this but I wasn't able to find anything on it- it left room for my full interpretation of it.

The original song seems sweet- but this version of it seems like it could be talking about repression. Somehow the solemn undertones of the voice and the arrangement of it all points to it not really being "lovey"

I guess I AM morbid, when I heard this song, this is what I envisioned.

I saw it as more of the emotions that someone who is forced to repress themselves and be someone they really aren't.
