I've done similar things to clear mission 100 on the Xbox and PS2 versions of Reload. Sol seems to play more aggressively if you do the same, but it may just be me. I've done the mission enough to know he's fairly cruel if you try to fight him normally.

I've even tried in Beginner difficulty (Pc and PS2 versions) and Sol still is way more difficult than this. You got lucky.

I agree with you with the tactic(it being cheap and all),but it was effective. You're right, shit is needed to be done to win,and seeing the sloppy AI, I can't help but see that much opening on Sol (especially on his guards) but it's a good vid.

This video is real, but the truth is you got really lucky. The strategy you showed is just about the only way to beat him, and is the proper way to play Ky against pretty much anybody. More often than not Gold Sol blocks Ky's bread and butter rushdown string and punishes him though. The fact that he decided not to block for some reason was the real reason you won.

Some missions are realy extreme MAD & HARD when Someone plays normal, someones have cheats like this mission, the machine can be really bastard, but have some miss when one use 2 repeat moves or simple moves like this mission, this video is 100% real & not was cheat or fake. Check anothers videos of others missions & check by your owns eyes what easy can be did someones

They're equally different. Most people don't seem to know that you can use a loop to kill Sol quite easily in this mission.

Get him in a corner and down so that you can do charged stun edge. As he stands up run towards him, it'll most likely hit him because the computer will think it can attack before the stun edge hits. Punch, slash, kick, whatever you want, just be sure to end with a sweep and immediately do another charged stun edge. Wash, rinse, repeat. I've beaten him several times doing this, it's not very fun though.

Well.. He wouldn't seem so if he won and I wouldn't have won if he didn't seem so.

Trust me, he appears spectacular everytime I am defeated. You wouldn't question his strength if I were to post the videos of my defeats.

Its just that, I could grapple him before he initaited the attacks. You must have noticed that he seems to stop after making a dash, that isn't because the difficulty was easy, rather it is the game that makes him appear so.

That is the way the Mission Mode matches are. You've got to keep trying. I haven't managed to defeat him either (after re-installation of the game).

Finally, I managed to defeat him once again. This time sol seems even weaker. I think every thousandth time, gol Sol gets tired or something and the difficulty is immensely reduced. That is our only chance to defeat him.

I Haven't played the PS2 version. But, let me tell you, this Sol is very very aggressive. I had to play like .. 1000 times to defeat him twice. The trick is in hitting him low while crouching... that neutralises sol's offence (as you have noticed) allowing you to counter-attack him.

wait a minute... something's not right. gold sol doesn't seem as aggressive. when GGXX #R converted GGXX PS2 mission 50 to 100 they must have toned down the CPU difficulty. either that or you're just damn good!
