tampa bay got penalized for punching a guy in the face thus being down two men and allowing a goal. When a boston player punches an opposing player they dont get penalized, i wonder why.....
I don't blame McQuaid for accidentally slipping tim's helmet off though, he saw him on the ground and threw himself in front of a loose puck, good try
@maxc7712 The ref was looking for the puck and wasn't focusing on Thomas being down. As a Boston fan, I cannot even blame him for missing that as there was so much commotion and he needs to keep an eye out for that puck.
Why are you guys hatin on johnny be good? He's a great player he is still young he's been in the league like 3 years. He has a great shot that doesn't always go in and he's a good hitter and fighter. He's gonna develop into a great player
Seguin isn't going to be a star forward and goal scorer as long as Claude is the coach. Don't get me wrong he has done a great job so far in this postseason but ii Seguin is going to be a star a defensive minded coach is only going hurt Seguin's development.
Agreed to an extent. I really think people are too harsh on Claude. Yes, he is frustrating as hell sometimes but look at what he's done (with P.C and the rest of the Bruins management) with this team. He's brought us into a new age of Boston hockey. We've made the playoffs for several years in a row as of now. I wish he could adapt a bit more but as far as I can see, Seguin has already developed quite a bit, even under CJ's defense.
@plays320 when you have a kid as supremely offensively gifted naturally as Seguin is, then wouldnt it stand to reason that the offense will just take care of itself? and having a defensive minded coach would HELP his development?
@robbyx4595 A stanchion fell off the glass in the opposite corner because someone was banging on the glass, the ice crew had to come out and replace it.
Boychuck is actually in my honest opinion, an underrated defenseman. This series hasn't been his best but he's been EXTREMELY crucial during this season. He's also a great teammate and is always there to support someone.
@CptPigOut because 1. he has a great shot 2. he can hit bit (everyone likes hits) 3. he's fast 4. he's young and he is going to get better defensively, which I would argue he is a bit better than "mediocre".
@Cristatachad 1. He does not have a "great shot". He has an average shot which misses the net most of the time. He only had 3 goals the entire year with that shot of his. 2. Yes he can hit. 3. He's not fast. Compared to Chara? Yes. But I can think of about 15 other players on this team that are faster than him. 4. He's not young by NHL standards, he's 27. And he is scary to watch in his own end.
Thomas got run into a few times by his own guys (1 time was a good thing since Malone got a bologna goaltender interference call with like 5 min left) but still. Rough game for him lol
Tyler Seguin owned this series
