@accountnumuno con 550 euro ti puoi permettere veramente un gran bel pc io ti consiglierei un phenom x4 oppure un i5 adatto per il game una bella 5850 e scheda madre (usando amd) Sapphire - Pure Crossfirex 890G A 890GX alimentatore anche 600w vanno piu che bene,ram 4gb, e scegliendo la configurazione amd andresti a pagare +o- 500euro (anche di meno se cerchi bene) se invece scegli la config con intel i5 ma direi 550 massimo 600 è sempre la solita storia dipende dove spendi!

@Hriskataaa I have 1 gig version, about same procesor, and 3 gigs of ram and it runs about same, 30-40 fps is good for crysis when it comes on ultra high settings, If you have windows xp (like i) its normal couse ultra high settings are for vista, and you have to cheat a little to enable settings on ultra high on xp... Play game on high (its awsome graphich too)

Doesnt matter none of the 4670 and below use a pci-express connector. i have the HIS ice-q version and i also have a 300 watt power supply an it runs fine even overclocked.

4670 Iceq. The cooler is really nice, lets me overclock to max settings allowed by catalyst. When on full load card gets at 55C at the most. And only with 3 120mm fans!

Ok that specific graphics card requires 400watts or greater, I'd recommend going for a OCZ StealthXStream 600W, very affordable, looks awesome, has a 120mm fan, really really quiet and has solid 12v rails, basicly it ensures you get the correct amount of power for every componant.

Yeah i just saw that power supply. Its cheap at a good price but it has 4 12v rails at 18A each. Which compared to the Cooler Master one it has 1 12v rail at 50A. And i read on lots of forums that a single 12v is better than multiple 12v rails for Crossfire/SLI

Oh most definatly, OCZ's are perfect for a budget system with a single card solution, but yea, if you're going crossfire you will need something better, i think what you have in mind is perfect. With the cheaper PSU's if there is to much amps going down 1 rail then its lieable to go *pop* Coolermaster is a good make as you probely know =P. WOOHOO I get my XFX HD 4870 today :D:D:D

@R00MBA55 the reason graphics cards take up so much power is because of the gddr3/5 memory the cards use. gddr5 is the worse, but with a good power supply it will ensure all ram is working as best it can which in result will give a balanced performance ratio. This is why people say PSU are essential. :-)

i had.. had nvidia geforce 8600 gt 256 mb and i had all my settings on high with no problems whatsoever! only catch is i have 64 bit OS which gives a massive boost of performance!! my crd got shot...lol i ordered a radeon HD 4670 1 gig iceQ and shouldperform even better. hope this helped someone
