  • is this event worth a 8 1/2 hour drive? lol

  • @KyleVideoDesigns In 2009, it so was. I dunno if I can say the same for 2011.

  • @CSX6000 well, they have 8 steamers this yr :) so it'll hopefully be better than last year

  • @KyleVideoDesigns Yeah 5/8 of them will be tank engines!

  • @CSX6000 no

    4449

    765 (some 2-8-4, i forget)

    the two 2-10-2s

    ATSF 3751

And one of the UP engines MIGHT be there

    lol

  • @KyleVideoDesigns

4449 isn't coming East because of the NHRS convention in Washington this year. #3751 was canceled by BNSf due to increased in traffic on the Transcon. And UP doesn't care about a little Train Fest.

  • @Espee9180 Shit

  • @KyleVideoDesigns Where in the blue hell did you get your info from?

  • @CSX6000 Yellow Hell :). The website for it lololol. And it said there are 8 scheduled steamers there

  • @KyleVideoDesigns Yes, and if you click on ATTRACTIONS, it tells you when steam engines are confirmed.

  • @CSX6000 yeah, Last time i checked they were supposed to have so many more. Dammit I was so excited

  • Haha that kid's tree house at 1:30 has the best view in the house!

  • Haha, there i am at 3:08! Ill soon be seen in a better part of teh train cause i no.

w volunteer on 765. great steamer to work around. cant wait for the 2010 operating season!

  • awesome vid 5*s!! Have you heard about the train festival 2010 in WV?? WM 734 and flagg coal 75 and New Hope 17 will be there. looks like a fun time.

  • Awsome intro. From early steam, to late diesel.

  • i'm at 1:50 in the miluakeeroad coach vestabule with the black shirt.

Also at 3:08 in the arizona car, right behind me you can see kleman09 who was riding 4449 with me on thursday and was helping with my onboard shots on the trip.

  • Awesome vid! Love the night shots!

  • Watching the trains pass here with 759, 4449 and so forth, it makes me saddened that 765 gets no where near as much glory as 4449 does, there are so so so many shots of 4449 as opposed to 765 its insane. Makes me want to shoot 765 all the more..

  • I'm in the second vestibule on the first ohio central car at 2:58. Great Video 5/5.

  • I went to TrainFestival 2009 with my dad and we had a great time! My dad and I also saw the SP Daylight #4449 and she is the one who pulled the American Freedom Train since back in the 1970s! She is beautiful!

  • The whole event was a great time. Thanks for your expertise at capturing it. You did a good job of avoiding that stupid helicoptor that kept screwing up everyones sound recordings. I rode the 765 trip and it followed nearly the whole trip. I fondly remember the NKP 765 and all the others when they were in regular service, The only thing missing is the mars light, and they weren't so shiny in those days. In my opinion, the Lima built berks were the most beautiful engines ever built.

  • @boilerbob7 i agree with you! Lima berks were the best!!!

  • SP 4449 sure is beautiful.great video.

  • Thanks for capturing a great trip that I shared with good friends and family. Always an A+ buddy!

  • AWESOME VDIDEO!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks, HaloCE14, believe it or not I saw the 1975-1976 AFT tour in West Palm Beach when I was six (1976). From what I remember it was very impressive and was newly restored. I still have the original tour program book. I am happy to see it from time to time in our family photographs. I was happy with it in its original Daylight livery and again in 2002 when it was repainted in AFT livery. It is an amazing piece of Americana. Peace, DPLaneFilms

  • looks like you had one heulva good time and still managed to make yet another great video. 5 stars adam and keep up the good work.

    Matt

  • Always good to see the Hiawatha Skytop at the rear. Beautiful restoration of the 4449 as well.

  • Correction to ur info. The Little Raiver #110 is not the smallest Pacific, it is the smallest standard gauge pacific.
