Hey. I really need help. When I put the IFRAME code in my HTML Editor program( I use Web Page Maker for my website),
the Facebook button looks different in different browsers (like Firefox, Safari. Explorer etc.).
In some of the browsers I get the some text with the button that says "register to see who liked this page". I want only facebook button on my website and the number of likes. Can you help me please?
Wow - to be honest with you I've never seen that but it should automatically be taking the name of your Facebook Page. Please check your Facebook Page Settings to ensure that you have a Page Name installed as well as recheck to make sure you used the code exactly as indicated.
Can You change the name of the liked page? For example i put this on the home page, and it works fine but when you like it says "You like Home" i dont really like it saying that cuz then ppl on facebook dont really get it when they see that you liked "HOME"
@MrThebutterking1 If you don't have your own URL you need to be able to code the site. If not you might want to move unless they provide you with this functionality.
@PlayerHaterBall That search this blog widget was custom-made. WordPress has a default one, and there are many others available. Check out this blog post for more info: hongkiat dot com / blog / wordpress-search-plugin-snippet /
I tried to do this. But I put the code within a "Text widget" in the Sidebar. Instead of the like button i gott plain html text at my Wordpress page! The HTML text i copied from the Facebook developer page also changes in form. It goes from the <i frame.... to <a href.... I'm clueless! What do I do wrong.?
hey i just added a like button to the website that i am making and it just doesnot seem to work for some reason, it wont do anything if u click LIKE, it will stay as it is, have a look and tell me thanks, the site name is ilovedeliriousunderage.host56 and then .com in the end
Hi, how do you change the colour of the 'xx people like this' text? My website is dark and I can't change the text colour to make it show up better on the page! I looked in the HTML but couldn't see anything relating to that specific text. Only a colour sceme and I have light selected! Thanks!
@donkeykong2k Hi There...did you copy and paste the code into your Home Page? Do you have a custom home page or just display recent blog posts on your Home Page? Depending on your answer you might need to edit your php code...
@donkeykong2k If the code did not work for your Home Page, you may have to edit your .php files...sorry that I can't be of help on that one. You should also know that since that video there have been lots of WordPress plugins that have been developed that you may want to consider as well. Thanks.
@kamal251540 Thanks for your comment! The link to my website definitely works, and I have included an additional link to the actual blog post (please cut-and-paste the long URL), As for adding a Facebook Like thingee in the description, unsure as to what you mean here. Please advise!
